Cheers Dom and glad you approve of my edit! The Sand Scorcher is definitely a poser for the camera and looks so good, I agree! I think the Wild One got more air due to it being the lightest - all plastic and no metal in this chassis!!! 🤣😜 Thanks for being there and driving and filming mate! 🙏🤗👍

Awesome footage. The Sand Scorcher may be the greatest RC ever created. Love the Kyosho Bug also. All three buggies kicked butt. The tandem Bug jump near the end was killer. Great job guys👍🏾👍🏾

@@MarkBryanRC Ha ha, all my iPhones have always had a couple of cracks actually, from RC filming 😉 Yeah. “Bubbles”. When I was a child it was a common sport for kids to spot or count ‘bubbles’ on long car ride vacations from the backseat. What fun we had before phones and pads entered the back seat. Well, I still play the same type of games with my kids in the car though. Only now it’s spotting a certain color of car or a brand. Not many bubbles around anymore.

Oh yeah, lots of cracks! I'm on my 3rd GoPro glass lens cover and that is also cracked! Same here with the car spotting games as a child! But not for VW bugs any more, like you say, very rare these days!

This video is an absolute cracker - I've never before seen a video which featured a Scorcher and a Kyosho Beetle, both being driven in sand. I reckon the Kyosho is probably Dom's and that you were driving the Blockhead, while Rob was running his Herbie Scorcher. Certainly, not one of you was being all precious about his paintwork!

Love this one mate. So good to see these scale beauties in action rather than languishing on a shelf looking pretty. Really nice to see Rob's Sand Scorcher out and about as not seen any actually driving recently including mine. I really must sort out the steering mod and get it running. Also good that the Blockhead Wild One and Kyosho Beetle are being used for what they were designed for. You got some epic footage and did a smashing edit as ever. Hi Pete, sorry I'm late! Missed you in the list! Anyway, yeah, like you we do like to run our Tamiyas! Rob's Scorcher really does look good on camera but it was very naughty and wouldn't go where Rob told it to! Kept veering off in all directions! The Wild One was so good on the sand, being a bit lighter, especially with the little shortie 2S I was running it on! Glad you approve of the edit, it did take a while as I;m sure you understand! @@MarkBryanRC Oh yeah the Sand Scorcher with standard tyres is pretty difficult to control. I found that the Hornet spiked tyres work better. The Wild One is great on the sand with those chunky tyres and fairly light weight as you say. I really want to get my Kyosho Beetle down to the beach as that looked like it was really good too. Just enjoying a little IPA and trying to edit a video. I've been a bit lazy of late but just doing vids when I'm in the mood. You are cranking out the content in your retirement so keep it up mate. Ooooh.... who doesn't love having a good bash on a sandy bottom?! 😂 3 awesome vintage models there for sure, driven by 3 awesome, not quite so vintage lads!!🤣 That was delightful guys, these 3 models pretty much define a whole generation in the rc time line, I would gladly own all 3,and would be pushed to choose a favourite! Guessing the kyosho probably performs the best, but all 3 are such quirky, individual and down right gorgeous cars! In my mind these cars in action look 100 times better(and more realistic) than any of the modern ready to run, bland modern day Bashers that the youth seem to rave about whilst sending them 50 yds into the air at a skate park! 🤣 Great to see them getting driven hard and fast(and taking it well at that!) You got some awesome footage captured there lads...... setting the standard as always. 🙏 Great fun indeed, hopefully not too many breakages? 👍 👍 👍 👍

🤣🤣 Oh yeah, bashing a Sandy Bottom has got to be done!!! Well, Dom ain't vintage yet but Rob and me certainly are! 3 great buggies for sure but that Sand Scorcher is a bit special! The Kyosho and Wild One were sure better performers though, the Herbie has a mind of it's own!!! No way would i swap any of these for a RTR!!! I'll test 'em if they send 'em but I ain't buying one! Some bashing and crashing went on but no real damage except for a few scuffs! All this was footage from my GoPro, hoopefully we'll see more from Dom's iPhone soon! Cheers, matey! 🤗🙏👌👍

Ah ha! I’ve seen Rob video this afternoon, and thought to myself, the 3 Amigo’s have been out, back into the editing suite and soon to release another bashing session, and behold! The 3 Amigo’s put another smile on my face and make me green with envy….I’ve still to have my wish of getting a Kyosho, but getting a pink ticket past the chancellor (the wife) is probably going to take much work 😂😂😂😂still, awesome seeing my favourite trio on YT.
