Tamiya Churchill VII | Painting & Weathering
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Tamiya's Churchill VII was a kit that sat on my shelf for a long time. I finally decided to get it done and I am glad I did, this went from one of my least favorite kits, and became something I am very proud of.
Most people today are not aware of the sheer sacrifice and resolve shown by Great Britain and her colonies when the Third Reich seemed unstoppable. Without the British Empire, the world would be a far darker place.
Footage used from different sources on youtube, including;

I REALLY like that paint job👍👍 you do know that beautiful build should have been added to a diorama. Just say-n.

If i was any good at terrain and foliage, I might have given it a go. But you know, it's never too late!
Came for the model, stayed for the poignancy. Really good video.

Thank you! I have a special place in my heart for British History. So this video was pure passion!
Another fantastic build. I particularly love the weathering techniques you used on this vehicle. The final result just looks amazing. Somewhat cartoonish but real at the same time and the two aspects blend together perfectly (that's just my opinion)

I totally get that cartoonish comment. I've noticed it with my models where they don't look pulled from reality, but more from an photo realistic animation haha.

@@plastikpanzerfactory6733 I try to do a bit of both for my models. Too cartoonish and it feels like a toy. Too real and it feels bland (my opinion)
Very nice paint job.
