i find tamino's voice to give off contradictory feels in most of his songs: he sounds passionate but also untouched, peaceful while also furious, both shy and extroverted. love it

yes indeed, in an interview he said that he wanted to incorporate the melancholic aspect of traditional Arabian music into his songs, where he particularly admired how "the singer is sad but he's facing it with his head held high" thats where the contradictory feels come from!

Can't get enough of this song, it's like a dream that you can't get it out of your mind all day

wow he looks like a blessed prophet in the church. when i first listened this song, it reminded me story of Moses. after running away to desert Moses come to a village, there are sisters near the well. he helps them and later he becomes part of family. also he gain wisdom while living with them. maybe it is just a similarity. anyway it is a beautiful song. lyrics made me cry before, he sings very sincerely. and the echo of church is great ❤

I didn't see this comment and I just wrote something very similar. When I first heard this I thought it was a Cohen song.

This song smells like going for a walk at 5am, I'm glad I got to listen to it in my lifetime.

His grandfather Egyptian singer and actor " Moharam Fouad " Half Egyptian half Belgium :)

Egyptians who listen this recongize his ability to rebirth his grandfathers work. Just gives me chillssss

He has a beautiful voice. He needs a change of face though. What's up with his grumpiness, ALWAYS grumpy face. Lighten up my friend! You are beautiful and a great singer!

Morrissey!! That's who his voice reminds me of. At least, he's got a similar vocal flexibility. He just needs a couple more emotional years to hit a similar depth in his voice, and it'd be right on target, but with a Tamino twist. ;)
