Yesterday(22/11/2019),we performed this at our school's Annual Day,I am a Bengali but I really love their culture, food,dress,festival,the people of Karnataka are so good and accepting of other language people...and this is the beauty of India I guess...love to all Indians.... I am the first one to like the video😊 Karnata is an emotional place for me,our son is rested there :( Now,Karnataka Mata is taking care of him....

Purandar das is very rare, precious and great devotee of lord vittaala. He has originally seen lord vittala physically . whoever utters lord vittala name and finds about purandar das really they will attain salvation. True salvation is in thinking , trusting lord vittala....... Purandar das is very famous in pandaripur.

As a Kannadiga, I am stunned by his pronunciation. He might be a prodigy when it comes to music but he has definitely worked hard for that flawless pronunciation! That is pure talent with hard work! If not for his name I would have thought he was a native Kannada speaker!

For those lovers of Purandaradasa this is a treat indeed. Another one I would like to hear from the "vande guru paramparam" is Purandaradasa's composition "Nimma bhagya doddado, namma bhagya doddado". The story goes that Krishnadevaraya the emperor used to take loans from the Navakoti Narayana Krishnappa Nayaka who later gave up everything to become Purandara dasa. When he meets the king, emperor chides the saint saying you have become a mendicant, but I am still the king. Tell me who is great now. This song is a reply to the emperor which is so beautiful, ending with "nimma bhagya Lakshmi devi, namma bhagya Narayana".. It is so befitting and touching.. Worth sharing with humanity - I am sure Kuldeep Pai will find this inspiring as well. It was once sung by Nagaraj Havaldar that had such an electrifying effect on audience.

Very true..when this song is going on I don't like any one disturbing me... I start once agn n.listen from the beginning!! It is a one-of- its- kind amalgam of multiple factors like voice ,melody, background score , lyrics n d raga which has pathos in each note..ohh...n d harmonium n tabla combo. .. it 7s not just one factor which.makes us go bk to this song agn n agn..Kulderep ji... it is a rare combo

Kannada is super pleasant sweet language

Not a day goes by without listening to this kid who is for sure an incarnation of Purandaradasa. His precision in gamakas and ease in high notes and that variation at 3:48 uff. My 7 year old cant stop singing this song ever since I introduced it to him. God bless you Raghuram and Kuldeep sir.

Raghuram, you have such an amazing voice, making me cry literally with joy.

Vitthlana Nodidva Vaikuntake Odidava.... That line.. Eyes closed on their own.. and could literally experience Vitthala standing with hands on his waist in front of me... Loved it! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
