TAMA S.L.P. Big Black Steel Snare Drum

Музыка

The LST148 "Big Black Steel" snare fills the roll of the classic, heavy fisted, rock snare drum-and then some. It's husky 8" depth hardened Steel shell provides maximum power and volume, making it the idea choice for players who needs to cut through the crushing din of overbearing guitar amplification.

I picked one up about a year ago and it works for literally every genre. You can play a fusion gig with this, a jazz gig, a metal gig, or whatever you want. Mid tuning and an HD Dry will bw versatile enough for everything, though i crank mine really high.

I love this drum ! I have this drum. It plays very well. It sounds so good I had to buy it. I have the snare side head kinda tight(haha) and I have the top[ head tight, so it pops ! What a great sounding drum. But the the drum can be tuned where ever you like . Great piece of equipment. I use this big girl for blues music. Heck yea !

I bought this snare right when it first came out, and I was blown away by how versatile it is. When I bought it, I took it to a BLUES gig, and it killed. Swapped out the stock heads for some more durable Evans heads, and through on a set of 42 strand (yes 42) snares, and this beast opened up even more! The best snare ever!

Robert Davis the only snare wires I like that are less than 40, are the DW model snares. The only 42 strands I can get, are the Gibraltar brand, but they still work amazing.

Ordered one Friday was so excited- Bought it and a new stand for it from Guitar center. Did order on Friday it is Sunday night not ready yet. Why do I keep buying from Guitar center and letting them disappointment? Seriously, I feel like I have a defect. Really want to check the snare out over the weekend. I realize they have to walk 100 feet total to take it off the shelf and stuff but I feel like even they could do that I called to ask about the order and even the rep on the phone was laughing at them not answering the phone when he called- They had been open for two hours no one would pick up which is why I used the 800 number. What an awful company Guitar center is- 4th time this has happened.

I am currently just running their stock snare strand w/ Aquarian Hi-Energy and an Evans 300 snare side, and man...it pops and still has a phat sound! I love this snare alot!! Great for the band I am in, which is a blues type rock band with a like a sort of dark twist to it lyrical-wise.
