Tallebudgera creek | Catch Cook Camp (WE CAN'T BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED) | E07
I head out Trippin & exploring Tallebudgera creek with my good mate Brendon the Bassman. You wont believe what we catch while soaking baits over night in the middle of winter...

In the late 70s we used to catch over 130cm Flathead in Tallabudgera every weekend. We didn't know they were females back then but they were there in huge numbers. The biggest ones weren't that much longer but some were over 200mm across the head. True giants. I hate seeing people now days take them at minimum size. If everyone took max size we would all be catching max size. Saw a salt water crocodile swimming down stream once, a bit over 1.5m long & only a few meters away from our little wooden dingy, we followed it and it eventually headed out to sea.
sick vid boys nice little river system hay
Best video yet! Well done Svedo.
I’ve spent 50+ years on the Broadwater but never been up Tallebudgera creek. Good video.

Worth an explore mate, absolutely stunning little system. She gets shallow near the highway bridge so if you have a bigger boat you will need a high tide to go right up the system. Thanks for the comment.
Awesome video! Good luck with the channel.

Tally boat ramp it's off murlong cres. Bream in the deep water just in front of entrance to the 2nd canal up from boat ramp. Flathead on the flats about 700m up from there. Cheers for the sub and nice comment.
