Mate, I was bloody knackered after that sprint to the beach...... It looked like a fun day out. Should have pinned a circle hook on that whitting and cast him out for a swim. Lol. Thanks for sharing with us.

Just can't believe how short the bust up lasted based on the amount of splashing going on
I fished there in the mid 80s boys, hell those whiting have got small. Over fished I'm thinking. Come to NZ for bigger fish lads.

There were only a couple over 35cm when we went back another day, would love to come to NZ later in the year. The kingfish and snapper fishing looks insane over there!

Bro why is the tied so high. I was here the other day and it was way lower
I've never seen the point of keeping Whiting,flathead and Bream that are just legal by the cm throw em back for another day

dillon Durry Hey Dillon, if we’re looking for a feed, we find keeping the smaller legal fish helps to ensure the larger breeding stock are maintained in the system to reproduce, which keeps populations up for future fishing.

Jax Heaton If you’re talking time of year, December to February (uni holidays basically), if you’re talking time of day then we get there for first light, around 4:30am, then fish till around midday
Is this a video of what not to do while fishing, I’m pretty certain whatever fish were busting up would of been running away from the lure that was reaching speeds of up to 80km, no wonder why you couldn’t get a hit
