    Hey everyone, last vid from the NZ trip which happened back in November 2023. We spent the final day exploring a new island in kayaks and packed up and headed in afterwards as the weather was forecast to come in overnight. Yet again some incredible coastline to explore, although the fishing was a bit slow

    That’s the Mokohinaus I remember. Birds, work-ups, surface flare -ups, and Kings of good size. Good to see the jig action on the yak. Great vid.

    i've seen those trev schools before but seeing the underwater action was so sick! there r so many more underwater. a shame the last day's session wasn't a good one but still managed to get some action on camera.

    Have you tried slow pitch jigging for those kings? Downsize the tackle a bit, and give them a more lazy presentation

    one of the guys a had been trowing topwater for days and only caught sharks. I just think the kingsfish weren't there in any number or size unfortunately
