Loz said, “nutrition is a hot topic,” that’s when I knew my diet was wrong. I had always thought nutrition was a hot pocket....

proboz I love Loz’s content and I’m proud to say I’m a Patreon that checks on his investment. The dad jokes are free of charge and Loz approved, (for the most part). I’ve always been a strongman fan, to the point that I root for all of them to reach their goals. However Loz has always been my personal favorite because he has heart, tenacity, intensity, and drive unlike anyone else. You can always tell what Loz is thinking, or feeling by the look on his face. I’m going to tell you something I’ve not told Loz before but he reads everything so I guess now he’ll know... my favorite moments in Loz’s lifting is the emotion he displays after an attempt. Wether it’s when he absolutely destroys the time set by the heavy favorites in the car carry, or roars and beats his quads after a pb deadlift in competition, or the time he laid it all out on a stone medley in a competition where things didn’t go exactly as planed and still be fired up enough to punch the final stone even though getting it or not getting it didn’t change his final position. He is the giant slayer, the warrior champion, and my friend. I support him. So you’ll see me a lot, but not as much as he has to deal with me lol.

Fascinating interview Los. It makes total sense about treating each athlete as an individual, and not focusing on research. Just like one training program would work for one person but not as well for another. Keep the great content coming.

Amazing to have the opportunity to hear what he had to say and his passion for what goes on in people's bodies and specifically their blood. Both of you are incredible.

Nathan Payton doesn't seem to be a nutritionist though. His credentials are CSNS, CPFT, and a certificate for health coaching from Duke. So he has the credentials equivalent to not even an associates degree in health coaching not even nutrition. So he can coach people about eating healthy but does not have the credentials or education to advise on nutrition or construct meal plans. Results in competition are all well and good but you could get those without severely elevating your risk of a heart attack, for example. Well, that's if you have a certified registered dietitian or nutritionist helping you. Correct me if I'm missing a credential.

For 99% of humans. Learn how your body reacts to what you eat. That's it. Don't judge your diet on your taste buds or comfort foods. I'm as guilty as anyone. I drink way to much beer all the time. Oddly I do hear what my body needs. Most likely, most of the time, it's trying to cope with my beer consumption. I recognize it, don't know how to solve it properly.
