That was my exact thought after watching this video. That's a guy that knows what he's doing, and the clear improvements Titan's products have seen makes sense. Furthermore, I actually do believe that they will continue to improve

I agree that it’s great that he sat for the interview. OTOH, I don’t think he stuck his neck out at all because he didn’t really answer anything with any specifics to be newsworthy. The big headline is only that Titan will have a Black Friday sale. The other news item is more colored racks. The rest is either very general, such as new cardio equipment and new rack attachments, or just typical PR department spin, ie. the reason we copy products is to bring value to our customers. What did I miss?

My takeaway: shipping to Canada in 2022!

I can’t imagine the CEO of Rogue or REP allowing the free range of questions like this. I’m thoroughly impressed how he answered the obviously tough questions about product originality and packaging.. Coop went in all raw off the bat with the first set of questions and much respect to both for an honest discussion.

I admit I love that Coop went pretty harsh on the questions and the guy still rolled with it. Coop did not give them softball questions.

I admit this actually is pretty admirable for Titan. This did NOT feel like a rigged interview. Coop definitely did not pull punches in this interview and the CEO was willing to jump into an interview where he knew there was a risk of him getting ripped a new one. I admit I was pretty impressed they were willing to do this. I bet most companies would not be willing to stick their neck out like that.

This guy is confident in his job and his approach. He's like "sure, we make stuff overseas and copy folks. What of it?"

Everybody copies everybody!!! There more than one safety squat bar, fan bike, flat bench etc on the market. Buy the one you want that fits your needs!!!

This CEO understands what needs to be done to move the brand in the right direction. You can’t turn this in a day but inviting COOP to HQ and having this interview is clever.

Agree with the general populace here: this has been one of the most interesting vids Coop's put out in a while, and that's not at all a dig on previous content. Massive respect to Austin and Titan for having the balls to sit for this, and looking forward to what's next for the company. Up next: Fringe Sport or even Vulcan, perhaps? I have some beef about this Ox Bar they sent me...

Fringesport for sure, increasing prices the second supply demand hit and saying "increased backend cost" at the start of the pandemic, and quality going so far downhill. Vulcan would be really cool too, they have so much good stuff it seems, but never see most of it in reviews and their customer service is non existent. Those factors make it really hard to purchase from them.

That kettle bell is so sick! Own alot of titan equipment nothing but good experiences. Was a godsend during COVID. The multi grip chamber bar saved my shoulders.

Respect for Titan doing this interview. Rogue needs to step their game up and communicate better.

Absolutely love it. Titan wasn’t previously on my radar but it is now that for sure. Good timing too! Looking to spend $15k on home gym this Black Friday! Great interview without restrictions, that says a lot about Titan. Nothing worse than a company hiding behind their PR team denying interviews. Hopefully Coop will be the national standard for representing the people in front of the manufacturers! Not a single bad or inaccurate equipment review to date.

Technically his recent titan fitness leg extension/curl machine is inaccurate because the price went up 100 dollars a few days after and one of the biggest reasons for his overall rating was the price.

I mean but $15k will get you a LOT of stuff through Titan. ESPECIALLY at a discounted price. Virtually anything you could think of. Still can get a lot through other companies too, but not nearly as much

Nice edit: Coop--yes, please interview more fitness company owners. Austin--yes, please release that sick two-sided kettlebell as a for-sale series.

Bring it to Canada!! Well done for the CEO to be put in the hot seat. He didn’t have to do it. Respect. Glad to hear that they hear the customers and they’re doing something about it.

This interview with Austin Speck has changed my outlook on Titan Fitness. Previously I would not have considered their products. Austin seems to really care about customer satisfaction. I will be looking into their products more often now. Coop, I like the way you got right to the point, nice and direct, no lolly gagging with your words. Eye opening interview, for me at least.

Glad Titan did this. I feel way more comfortable buying from a brand when it feels more personable/ real!

I’ve been slowly building my garage gym I’ve the past 5 years or so. I have witnessed first hand the evolution of the packaging as well as product improvements. Early on I expected my product to be chipped and or dented, and it usually was. Just got an X-3 rack with many attachments. The product and packaging was night and day from a few years ago. Looking forward to 2022 and the new product releases.

Considering an X3 rack myself. What height/depth did you get? And did you get the multi grip pull up bar attachment? I ask bc I want to know how many inches it adds to the height of the rack.

Badass interview. Been a titan supporter since 2016. Company has come a long way. Titan has made it affordable for the working man to have a functional home gym. Their quality is well and above worth the price point.

Legend has it Alan Thrall is still receiving sled pieces. That said I have a bunch of Titan stuff and will probably get even more!

Their stuff used to be low quality, and the shipping experience was awful. A lot of people accepted this and still purchased their products. A lot of people, such as myself, moved on to different brands They're starting to get to a place now where I would consider purchasing some of their products. Difference is quite dramatic

I 100% agree! I was initially a doubter of Titan because of the past reputation of the poor packaging and quality of the equipment and refused to have anything from Titan in my home gym. But then I decided to get the Titan leg curl/extension machine last month after seeing great reviews in it and I gotta admit the packaging surpassed my expectations. It came in great condition and was much better than how I got my rogue, rep, kabuki, and elitefts equipment. The machine works just as expected and I am happy with my purchase. I am now a believer of Titan! Can’t beat the price point too!

Love the transparency of Austin. Great guy. Great company. Will continue to purchase Titan products for years to come.

Great interview. As previous people have commented, I admire the fact that the CEO was willing to show his face and answer some tough questions about some of the poor products that they had put out.

I bought a Titan squat stand last year and the coating and weld quality was fantastic. It has held up perfectly in a non-climate controlled garage. Absolutley ZERO issue.

I appreciate the honesty. Whether you like them or not, they have carved out their own in the market and I appreciate this CEO’s non BS attitude, didn’t try to pitch me or put lipstick on a pig for lack of a better term. Hey we wanna improve, we offer affordable products etc and that’s just who we are. No PR spinning or nonsense. Very much appreciated.

I have Rep and Rogue out in the garage, and they make great stuff. But 80% of my investment and total volume of gear is Titan. You want a good barbell. You want weights with good tolerances. After that, value is king for me, which means Titan wins out most of the time when I'm looking at my next purchase.

Probably my favorite video of yours Coop! I loved the interview and I am glad titan keeps stepping up their game!

I love that he showed humility, and that he stood behind the brand and wanted to make improvements. Your questions were perfect! Organized exactly how I would expect. Home run here buddy. I have never bought from Titan, but since this interview I will entertain it if I find something I’m looking for! Should not be hard.

Totally love this type of content. The more and more I look into Titan the more I like them. This was a great interview CEO was seemingly honest about everything and they seem to listen to the customer but also make a point to say “hey we are the value brand. And you will get the MOST out of your value.”

Terrific interview Coop. I have a couple items from Titan sprinkled into my home gym. I just had an order arrive the other day with a bit of cosmetic damage and their customer service immediatley shipped out a replacement. They instructed me to keep the damaged item as well. Great service and solid products for any home gym.

One of the best interviews I’ve seen. Excellent questions and I’m glad the CEO was so willing to provide the community with so much information. That Spartan/Titan partnership kettle bell is a must and I would definitely purchase them!!! I recently bought from a terrible company and got my money back. I then went with Titan and was completely satisfied by the packaging and condition they came in. My plates came in a wooden pallet box! Very impressed with Titan

This was really good. Love to see more like this. It’d have cool if he’d go into specifically what was to come in 2022 but i get they don’t want to spill it before it’s ready. I’d be looking for a selectorized leg curl/extension combo.

I got a X3 Rack last January 2021 and can attest to their improvement in quality. The shipping is quick (3-5 days) and the product is clearly improved. Definitely gym-grade but affordable. I’m glad to see that they’re listening to and applying feedback. Would highly recommend

My T2 rack has been absolutely flawless, along with my single post flat bench and parallel landmine handle. I will most likely be buying the plate loaded leg extension/leg curl machine on Black Friday as well.

I recently bought the deadlift jack and I've heard horror stories about the packaging so I was a little nervous. However, I was very pleased with how fast it was delivered and the packaging was in great shape. The changes are already showing through since he has taken over. I'll buy again for sure.

I have about a dozen Titan items. I also have plenty of Rogue. Everything I've received from Titan has arrived in perfect condition. Most of my rogue items usually arrive with no packaging material so they are sticking outside the box. My Rogue monolift got all scratched up in shipping. I love my Titan Max FID bench. The multi pull up bar is also great. I recently ordered the V2 Trap bar which arrives tomorrow....can't wait.

I live by titan fitness ever since i discovered them and the quality they deliver for the price and free shipping is unmatched
