I've been going to concerts since 1969. Seen hundreds if not thousands of bands. Talking Heads are in my top 3.

It looks like every member is having a blast. David is the Energizer Bunny. They are so creative. The music is amazing, and the visuals are so entertaining.

The creativity of this incredible band is just beyond stunning. This is where the bar sits.

After a decade of listening to them and realizing that I liked everything I was hearing I was like “hmmm I must be a fan!” Melody is great, the rhythm is tight and the lyrics have always spoken to me.

WOW!!! Just remembering being at 2 of their shows. I'm feeling really sad that now kids don't know and won't experience how great it was having music and concerts. Being in my 60's I sure have a lot to appreciate and look back on :-)

The Stop Making Sense Tour was epic...A once in a decade or even a once in a generation quality artistic masterpiece. David Byrne is a genius and he assembled a great band. This tour was (arguably) his zenith. It burned down the house.

I don’t think they “slipped through the cracks” at all. They were and still are recognized for their incredible talent and their contributions to music in general. I do agree with your influence observation. I’ve been thinking about that since I read it and I’m pretty sure every band I’m a fan of today lists The Talking Heads as one of their influences. They were so versatile that they get mentioned by bands from almost every genre that I can think of.

Every person who has commented here, you are all awesome for acknowledging a band putting on one of the greatest concerts ever and all they're doing is having fun and being happy.

Tina is the Ginger Rogers to Byrne's Fred Astaire, only instead of dancing backwards in high heels she's playing bass and doing choreography.

Saw them when they was only known as a little band, thoughts then as mow same . You couldn't throw dice a million times and get the experience of this absolutely amazing band. Good to see and been young enough to be apart of the Talking Heads church. All good and thoughtful 😊

The two young chorist are amazing and so are the whole group. I know about one song but i am listening more of his songs and i am amazed to see how great the whole group is and he sure has a ton of energy to dance and run like he does 💕💕

I have friends (older than me) who saw the show when it came to their city. When they walked into the auditorium, there was a lot of confusion in the assembling audience. The curtains were open, and there was _nothing_ on the stage. For regular concert-goers, it was very unusual, because normally the stage crew spends hours getting everything ready for the band, followed by a sound-check once all the equipment is in place. They didn’t know what to think, but were completely blown away as the evening progressed.

One of the best concert films ever. Its living art with some great base lines..a workout and a Big Suit. I see some revival coming in 2023 for the film!
