Was my favourite band growing up. For me their best is "Slippery People" with Byrne and Harrison being perfectly tight on Guitar and Keys, while the Chris and Tina weave their magic percussion. Or when Alex Weir joined them on guitar for the beautifully melodic "This Must Be The Place". I couldn't understand why those songs weren't bigger at the time but they have since grown massive streaming support.

It's no surprise that there would be friction between the members, but even then it's definitely not entirely David's fault, as supposedly David and Jerry are still on good terms, but same cannot be said for David and Chris/Tina which makes you wonder if it really was entirely David's fault like the TomTom pair say.

Reading Chris' book now. Great story of this seminal, wonderful band. Chris and Tina - what a love story - to take this ride together. Amazing. Jerry joining... incredible. And David - warts and all, what a great artist. They all are. Being in a band is tough, and these guys have their war stories. Wonderful to see them together as everyone would agree. One of the greatest of all time. Shout out to Tom Tom Club too! This version, of this song, is fantastic. Hard to imagine this is their LAST LIVE PERFORMANCE - come on guys... if the Stones and U2 are out all the time, you can do it one more time... and David, you seemed to have mellowed a little... your band... this band... the band... Chris and Tina's band... Jerry's band... is one of the greatest of all time. It's a BAND. First ballot hall of fame. One of the greatest of all time. Art is about looking back and forward. I am glad they put aside their differences briefly to practice and put on a great short show for everyone.
