They are extremely smart. I've always treated dogs good. I am the same way with cats. I actually do love animals so much that I decided to become a vegan.

This is exactly what my german shepherd does. She makes the same noises and facial expressions. It is really funny!! GORGEOUS dog by the way!

"talking" debatable....thumbs-up for Roxy putting up with you!

For some strange reason, her voice is soothing... I felt like I wanted to listen to her read anything before I drift off to sleep lol...Weeeeeirrrrd lol.

Adorable, just precious. My 6 MO old GSD female makes sounds like that when she's sleepy or in a lovey dovey mood. She grumbles and groans too. I love it!

Mine does this all the time too :) And having seen the first comment, I will add that we have a doggy door and the pup can go outside and use the potty anytime he wants :) I previously had a sweet Saint Bernard, mostly quiet. I think this German Shepherd breed is just more vocal. It’s cute.

Oh, I have a 4 month old GSD and he talks almost all the time. He's very funny.

dude the dog obv needs to go out, bring him out. That's like your husband running into the bathroom when you're about to piss yourself, locking the door behind him and just laughing. (assuming this scenario takes place in a 1 bath house/apt)

Ya the breed itself not just the girl

Grew up with 2 GSDs one after the other. No other dog comes close. They take the head tilt to the next level. Super smart dogs, loyal, affectionate, easy to train. No down sides for me

I miss my GSD Queeny. Such a wonderful dog.

Mine is running along the green fields for over a year now; we used to have a sausage dog too, I'm sure they still have eachother's back. I'm getting a GSD in a few months time, I love them too.

Yeah! They are all friends on the other side. No fighting. We lost her many years ago. I wish I knew the circumstances, but one of the family's BF was not so forthcoming of how she got away. Still hurts thinking bout it. She was old, her kidneys were bad, and she had a hard time getting up the steps, because of hip problems, but that does not mean anyone had any right to do what they did.

I loved seeing Roxy! It’s been three months since my baby left us and I miss all those Shepherd ways. xo

awe... what an awesome dog she is. She reminds me of my Shepherd. He died at 13. She sounds just like him. Except when I asked him if he wanted to go out he always got excited & happy even if he didn't have to do his business. Then when I'd take him outside he would just stand there and look around as if to say; "um, OK now why did I want to go outside again?" LOL. He was the best dog I ever had..... my big baby...

German Shepherd is my favourite dog . I like and love this dog . My family also love them.

Mine talks up a storm too. That's why I named him Chewbacca. Well, that and everything always ended up in his mouth when he was a pup!

German Shepherds are one of my two favorites breeds. They are the best. They are so beautiful, have amazing personalities, are insanely protective, but most of all they are big, huge babies! I will always have Shepherds! And, also, they are soooo mouthy! My GSD is such a talkative little booger!

thank youu! she is VERY easy to take care of. i think GSD's are the perfect dog. i could live in a one bedroom apartment and she would never complain. growing up, it was like having another person living in the house. she is INCREDIBLY intelligent and just wants my affection :)
