Absolutely agree about Shepherds. I have owned Shepherds for the past 40 years. Currently have three. Now if I could only convince my wife four Shepherds is the perfect number to own. Our house is definitely big enough. Thanks for posting.

German Shepherds are such beautiful, smart, loving, playful & amazing dogs, which makes them perfect for families.

A coworker went on a mini-vacation with her whole family, and they had me take an dogsit their dog for 3 days. Now they took him back and I miss the little dude.

German Shepherd’s are awesome. I have five German Shepherd and a Pit Bull . The Pit Bull is my purse,, rescue her seven years ago and she’s also a sweet dog.

I had to let my dog go last month after 16-1/2 years. The horse racing the dog reminds me of him so much. My mailman and Big Boy, my dog, had this game they played. As soon as the he (the mailman) started to drive away from the mailbox Big Boy would take off running the length of the fence to race him. He always beat the mailman of course and Big Boy would put his paws on top of the fence and wait for him to beep his horn as he drove by him. It was the game they played every weekday. He was 75 pounds of muscle but he was super fast. I miss him and so does my mailman.

When I was a small child, we had a German Shepard/Collie mix. I was #11 of 12 kids. Rusty would keep an eye on all of us to stop us from running out in the road(good babysitter). Whenever we played "Tag", though, Rusty kept trying to herd us!
