Love how comedians can just sit and chat about comedy, the underlining "ins and outs" that we skip over whilst just laughing. Showing how every job is more than what you think

Just randomly watching this in 2020 and cant shake the feeling that honest bantering like this could never be aired on tv today. I also noticed how comedians can disagree strongly with each other and still be good friends and not get emotional about everything.

I gotta be honest, I wish Ricky wasn´t here. His constant pompous need to be seen as smart interrupts others from genuinely having fun.

Chris Tucker didn’t get his respected piece of the conversation. I love Jerry, and maybe it’s just the video editing, but Seinfeld kept cutting the rock… Didn’t love the pedestal.

I hate the way the other three kiss Seinfeld's ass like he's the king of comedy. All three of them are funnier than him. Jerry owes most of his success to Larry David.

I wish we could see one of these discussions with better-known comedians like Dane Cook, Carlos Mencia and Jay Leno or guys like that. I don't even know who most of these guys are!

Interesting how Gervais operates at a much higher level of insightfulness. Tries to elevate the concepts of the jokes constantly just be told (in various ways) by Jerry and Louis that the ‘bits’ they are discussing just aren’t that clever.

All 4 are funny on stage but the discussion is basically a series of mini discussions where the other 3 can’t follow Gervais’ philosophical view of comedy and how it actually works.

Ricky Gervais is getting destroyed. I know he organized the whole thing but he should've just asked questions, not gone in as a comedian.

Everyone is welcome to their own opinion, but your opinion is completely wrong. You clearly don't understand Ricky's style of comedy if you're in that mindset.

He desperately want to be seen and respected as a comic , and clearly it s not working . He’s trying way too hard and looks pitiful on this panel. He’s very talented for tv granted , but he is not nor will ever be a comic . He reads his set for starters , and you just end up feeling sorry for him . He needs to just stay in his lane

This is why they tried to cancel Louis CK. Bc he joked about the N word.
