I like the positive videos I think if they are good for the rest of the year that will be key. Them going up and down makes people restless we need to stay above 500

I recommend the 2010 book by James Hirsch Wille Mays The Life The Legend. I also put Wille Mays right behind Babe Ruth all-time as well since Ruth was first a very good pitcher and his home run hitting really popularized baseball in the 1920s. He was my favorite player growing up who was not a Cardinal. I agree the Cards from the start have needed one more starter and would prefer something higher than a number 5 starter to get serious about winning the pennant. There has been enough going well now to make such a move. Good discussion.

That game seems to have lit a huge fire under Winn and Burly. Wish our old guys could hit better

Thinking our lineup will be strong from top to bottom. Thinking we need to add another elite reliever. Hoping Gorman figures it out. Siani may very well be one of the best CF defensively, in MLB.

Mays was the best everyday player I ever saw. Imagine what he could have done in a hitters park. Koufax was by far and away the best LP. Gibson the top RP.

Hitting hasn't been consistent. Pitching has, but I'm not sure our old horses can carry that energy into the postseason.

Let’s see how the Braves series goes. The Giants aren’t exactly an impressive squad. I will admit that them going 24-12 since being 9 games under .500 mid May….didnt ever expect that.

So heres my question the hitting coach took a lot of flak when the team wasnt hitting and my statement was hitting is a players thing NOT A COACH THING so are the same fans that blame the coach willing to give him credit now that they are hitting ? My thoughts are he gets no credit JUST like he deserved no faults, and the more they win solidifies Oli to be the coach for a while so get use to it

Wonder why you haven’t been criticizing Cardinals owner Bill Dewitt Jr and his son Cardinals Team President Bill Dewitt III for staying with a president of baseball operations and manager who don’t what they are doing?
