I guess that's one way to look at it The teams are what they are. As far as I can tell nobody is keeping any race out of baseball. Or am I missing something

Most black kids don’t want to play baseball they think it’s boring.. they want to play football and basketball.. because of culture.. I have mixed cousin grew up in an all black neighborhood.. MLB players who aren’t black don’t carry themselves in a thug/gangster mentality… football and especially basketball players carry themselves like that.. baseball doesn’t let domestic violence.. gun charges.. drug charges.. like guys continue to compete in their league plain and simple

I love how he only considers the Africans black lol What color are they if they are not black ??? It is sad though that we have stopped going to the inner city to play baseball...I went and coached with boys and girls club of St. Louis years ago, and it was fantastic.

Hadn't commented in a while now. I figured what's the purpose? Still a mediocre team with a feckless coach fighting for a Wild Card. It's just repetitive. But I'm gonna break the fast on this one. This is everything that's wrong with professional sports right now. This topic has to be interjected in EVERYTHING! It's the reason people like myself checked out in 2019 and with the exception of the NFL the viewership and revenue in professional sports reflects that. The NBA said if you don't like it or what we're preaching then don't watch.....Shazam! 40 year's as a Laker fan.....Haven't watched a game since. Same thing with the Vikings. When they made the stadium a shrine to a criminal......Haven't watched a game since. God Bless Albert Pujols, because if he hadn't came back I'd still be checked out on this watered down version of baseball.....And I have a foot in the foyer on that. To the gentleman that's blowing this smoke I'll finish up with this. IT'S NOBODY'S FAULT! NOBODY OWES YOU A DAMN THING! You can't make black kids play something their not interested in! NOBODY IN THIS LIFE IS HANDED ANYTHING! Go out and work for it or just stop talking. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU'RE PIGMENT IS! Go feel sorry for yourself or blame someone else that you're a failure is what people use for a crutch now and it's frickin old! As far as the Rickfield game went I turned on "Mute" and listened to the broadcast on the radio because the virtue signaling made me want to vomit.......But then again, I'll ask this gentleman a simple question......Why are you not presenting the same argument about why the NBA has very few white players and what "They're" doing to fix that? Right 😑👈 🇺🇸

Complain and blame is the name of the game… grew up in an all black neighborhood 2 bedroom home with siblings parents didn’t have a pot to piss in.. now I own a estimated 1.8 million dollar home and have a business that makes over 250k easily a year.. once in my early 20’s I was homeless… no body handed me shit.. just kept grinding but hey must be my white privilege that kept that nose to the grind stone while waiting for that government cheese!

I'll answer that, its because GM and coaches require skillsets and if your skillset isnt up to par you get left behind its the same reason you have no w cornerbacks, its a skillset issue but 4 of the 5 best players in the NBA are foreign born which should tell you something, and if you listen to what the man was saying he never asked for a hand out he expertly explain to you what Rob Manfred did was comical and disingenuous but of course his message is lost when minds are closed

So you basically just said positions of hire are based off skills or skill set.. so affirmative action doesn’t have a leg to stand on if you don’t have the grades or skills to get into said school or obtain said job then keep working harder to become better at obtaining said skill… interesting..

Woke started as a protest to police violence on black people.. yet if you do research you’ll see on the fbi database 6% of the population accounts for over 50% of the murders but yet since the Obama administration more white men have been killed by cops than black men… weird.. don’t assume no one does research.. woke culture has now been shifted into anyone who can play the victim card immediately does and complains and blames everyone else for their problems instead of taking accountability for their own choices and actions

Not surprising KFNS is closing down. These repetitive conversations really designed for click-bait are not of interest to actual sports fans and just brings out angry people on all ends of the spectrum. By the end of this show it was four people shouting all at the same time - just a cacophony of yelling and impossible to hear anything cogent. It's a sports station and just about every show is about so-called woke agendas, transgender people, Bud Light, race, and a bunch of other things designed to prey on anger. Be a part of the solution instead of part of the problem - clicks be damned. Trust me, nobody with a brain tunes into a sports station to hear Andy Van Slyke's, Charlie Tuna's, Kevin Slaten's, and Cam Janssen's political and social views.

@@CharlieMarlowSTL I know that, I was talking more about KFNS and almost all of the shows on that (soon to be gone) station. I was listening yesterday and by the end it was just terrible. If you guys had a cogent discussion about it, it might have been interesting. I am sure Tuna is a decent fellow but he pretty much admits he's playing a role just to get attention rile people up. I don't know if the same can be said about Slaten, but if that is really who he is, what a miserable human being. How many times did we have to hear Cusumano talk about Bud Light? If I wanted that kind of programming I would tune into to Foxnews or MSNBC not a sports station.
