“Covenant keepers are entitled to a special kind of rest that comes to them through their covenantal relationship with God.” (Russell M. Nelson, Gen Conf, Oct 2022)
“When you … see our Father, you will see a being with whom you have long been acquainted, and he will receive you into his arms, and you will be ready to fall into his embrace and kiss him.” (Brigham Young, “Discourse,” Deseret News, Oct. 1, 1856, 235)
“Jesus Christ was the perfect example of loving our Father with all His heart-of doing His will, regardless of the cost. I want to follow His example by doing the same. I am inspired by the wholehearted, whole-souled discipleship of the widow who threw her two mites into the temple treasury. She gave her all. [See Mark 12:41-44] Jesus Christ recognized the abundance of her all where others saw only her lack. The same is true with each of us. He doesn’t see our lack as failure but rather as an opportunity to exercise faith and to grow.” (2022-O:60, Michelle D. Craig, Wholehearted)

I am soooooooo ready for Jesus to come again!!! I rejoice and look forward to that day with great excitement!!! I am consistently adding oil to my lamp by having daily prayer (multiple times throughout the day 😉), daily scripture study, weekly temple, attendance, giving my church calling 100%, and most importantly, being the best, wife, mom and grandma that I can be! I couldn’t do any of that, without having Jesus Christ in my life and receiving the strength, hope, and faith only He can give!❤️

Let's erase 'best' from our vocabulary and replace it with 'can'. Do what we can with the energy and abilities we have. I needed to hear this as this last week due to hormones I have felt so tired. I start to study my scriptures then fall asleep, then I'm down on myself for falling asleep and not prioritising study when I'm more awake in the mornings. New morning routines have crept in. I can say yes I'm trying, I'm striving and keep praying that I will stay awake or figure out my mornings better.

I loved how you explained about the Saviors coming and that we are on a journey and we don’t have to be perfect or have all these things to do for him to come again. I have felt that in my life a lot, so thank you for explaining that, and how are best is OUR best not someone else’s. ❤

This was absolutely amazing!!! This changed my entire mindset about the second coming! Imo it’s not soon but now I absolutely cannot wait for that day and how I wish it would be in my life! When Jesus was here what did He do? As recorded in the Bible and BOM He healed, He taught, He blessed, He ministered! That’s what He’s going to do again and more. I can’t wait to see Him! I’m truly so grateful for this podcast! Thank you for shifting my entire view on this! I absolutely cannot wait for that day!

The Spirit is strong with me while listening to both of you sharing the lessons Jesus would have us learn and incorporate into our lives. If we will hear Him, and love Him, we will be ready for Him to come back to us. I am definitely not perfect and I long for His return. ❤️🙏🌹

Thank you. I just read JST Matthew 1 this morning and was feeling a little overwhelmed. I don't think I have ever felt that I didn't want Christ to come back, more I wonder that I can endure all the tumult that will come before him.

WOW!! Thank you so much for this lesson. I don't recall a time that I didn't want to see the Savior's Second Coming. Now I know why. I have faith in the atoning sacrifice that He did for all of us. Trying to keep that connections with Them makes all the difference. I'm a note taker and the last couple of episodes it seems like I'm hanging on every word you both say. What can I say, you are helping me grow spiritually. Thank you for all the time, energy, faithfulness, and talents you put into each episode.

You know it makes me think of the second coming. Do you think those people trying with good hearts regretted him coming when he did to the americas with all the chaos they were living in, or even when he was born ? That they hadn’t had to wait a moment longer for his help and healing and even more personal love ? That they wished they had waited even longer to get ready ? Or were they grateful that he came when he did and not a moment later :)

I love your message and I understand your intent, but I still struggle in this area. I am not ready because I want children. I want to experience the joy of being a mother. I know that’s what I was born to do so I am not ready.

You will be able to still have children. Am I right or not? Pretty sure that I am. The purpose of this whole lesson is to let us know that we will continue "living" when He comes again.
