Thank you for sharing your thoughts on how God speaks to each of us individually. I love the idea of our "own language" not only being the dialect we speak, but also the ways in which we receive the Spiritual Promoting, guidance, and of course, Comfort. John, thank you So much for sharing your thoughts about how you have come to share your beliefs and testimony of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. It caused me to think about how many times other people who choose not to believe in God or may have their own beliefs about God tend to explain how they have come to the conclusions for their own beliefs based on their own experiences that they wouldn't want to deny. In a similar way, you have chosen to believe the things that you choose to believe in (namely the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and God's Plan of Salvation) and because you have experienced this, you desire to stay true to the things you know that has happened. You have chosen to have integrity in regards to what you believe in and how you choose to live, based on those beliefs. We might be know everything, but we can believe and Trust the things that God has chosen to reveal to us, as we chose to receive God.

The traditional interpretation of Jacob 2 verse 30 as an exception to monogamy is not in harmony with the context of Jacob's message and especially the preceeding seven verses to verse 30 are all being ignored. It is an excellent example of proof texting and logical assumptions based on the apparent ambiguity of what God commands and what are the "things" they otherwise hearken to in verse 30. Here is the most accurate interpretation of verse 30 based on the context of the preceeding seven verses. Jacob 2 :30 "For if I will, saith the Lord of Hosts, raise up seed unto me, I will command my people;... (For if I am going to raise up seed unto me [righteous people] see vs 25, I will command my people to keep the laws of monogamy)see vs 27,29. ...otherwise they shall hearken unto these things." (I must give the commandment for monogamy to my people, otherwise they shall hearken unto these abominations of polgamy and other whoredoms. See vs 23,24,28)

Unfortunately, the LDS Church fails to teach the Bible's greatest promises. Namely that Christ's righteousness becomes imputed (attributed) to any one who places their full faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 4:22-25). Just as Abraham's faith was accounted to him for righteousness, so it is the case with anyone who places their faith in Christ. Faith in Christ is what justifies us fully and makes us right before God, not religious works (Ephesians 2:8-9) or the law (Galatians 2:16). Do you want to be made right before God? Trust in him alone, not a religious institution, not in works or ordinances, but in him alone. After all Christ proclaimed "It is finished!" before he died on the cross...our debt had been paid, he bore our sins on the cross not in Gethsemane (1st Peter 2:24). Any Christ that requires additional means to heaven is a false one that God warns about in Galatians 1. Trust in the authority of God's word the Bible, not in man. God bless.

Thank you so much for your service! 😊❤ I loved having the balance of skimming the surface to cover the main points of what we will be learning each week, while diving deep together to discuss Real Circumstances with Real People! It was long enough to dive into the Spirit, yet short enough to understand the main message! As much as I've also enjoyed diving deeper with Brother Halverson on his channel, "Unshaken", I really appreciate having the simple, yet Spirit felt discussions! Thank you so much Ganel-Lynn & John! 🤗♥️📜📖💒✝️🕊️

Thank you for sharing Both of your experiences. I'm so glad you, John, were able to become more prepared as a son of God. I know it's frustrating to not have your expectations in the way we think (I have struggled with feeling overwhelmed or like I've been given a curve ball more than once), but thank you for reminding me (& others tuning in), that It can be a blessing to have more time for personal development with God. Ganel-Lyn, Thank you for reminding me that I can receive blessings as I focus more on the Temple and Family History. I'm glad Indexing is included as well because even when I can't go to the Temple, I can still focus on Indexing. I remember recently when my Mom shared the news about the St. George Open House in a KZread video. As I watched the video, I paused here and there to look at the details of each room. I paused at the baptismal font and focusing on the details on each steps and the railing around it. I pictured myself sitting down and feeling the details in the wood and just feeling the atmosphere. I then imagined a surprised and shocked matron perhaps wondering what on earth I was doing, sitting on the floor and touching the details on the steps or railing around it! Then I imagined myself telling her that I'm Trying to Feel Jesus. Sometimes I wish that the first time I went through my Endowment, that I was more focused on how I was feeling, rather than trying to remember things or focusing on extended Family that was there for me and my brother. I also sometimes wish I could could get baptized by immersion again, not just partake of the Sacrament. But then I realized that I could do Baptisms for my Ancestors in the Temple. I think because I've noticed my foundation wasn't as strong as I thought (kinda like when the saints discovered the Salt Lake City Temple Foundation after it was buried), that I've wanted to re-commit myself to Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. To know again that I believe in the Gospel I've grown up in. So thank you for this lesson, the quotes from Apostles and Prophets (ancient and modern), and for sharing your Testimonies and experiences. ❤️🙏💒✝️🕊️

I’m a Mormon. We should believe the Scriptures, not man. And the Scriptures testify the Mormon Church is the only true Church of Jesus Christ on Earth. But if something is taught that can't be verified by Scripture, think twice about believing it. I understand why so many people are leaving the church. Many false doctrines exist causing countless KZread videos mocking Mormonism. False doctrines like grandpa gods, (God the Father has a father) Mormons becoming gods of their own planets, Adam helped create the earth, Christ and Satan are brothers, God the Father has rarely spoken in Scripture, The African Americans were bad in the pre-existence; all of which no Scripture verifies. And each Sunday the Sacrament is tainted because only Elders and Priests can administer but the Deacons prepare/administer, and the Teachers pass/administer the Sacrament. (D&C 20:57) And the Lord says, He’s bound when we do what He says but if not there is no promise. (D&C 82:10) …that the scriptures might be fulfilled; for ye shall do according to that which is written. (D&C 24:14) And we wonder why there’s depression, mental illness and other unspeakable events among us? And many are leaving the church because if you don't fit the mold the church leaders sculpture you're not a part of their click. Mormons believe the church leaders over Scripture. The zealous believers have the church leaders in mind with everything thing they think say and feel testifying to impress others how much they believe the current church leaders are God-inspired. I’ve talked with church members who think they have some kind of spiritual connection to these men (church leaders) even claiming these men verify in their talks personal revelations. But the Scriptures reveal the church leaders are the problem with the entire Planet. For example, In 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 we are informed of a person revealed as the son of perdition. This son of perdition sits in the temple of God making himself God or above all that is called God. Therefore, if the Mormon Church is the only true church then the only person 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 could be talking about is the current Mormon prophet. For what other church is the one and only true Church with temples? And Joseph Smith taught a son of perdition can only be a church member holding all the rights of God's priesthood and using the priesthood against God, as did Judas. Therefore, who else other than the current Mormon prophet could the apostle Paul be speaking of? It's as plain as the nose on a face. And God in the Doctrine and Covenants tells us about the current church leaders and how displeased He is saying the end of this world will begin among them. (D&C 112:23-26) and the 12 blaspheme His name in the mist of His house. God Himself tells us these men are heinous. Joseph Smith taught the false doctrine of grandpa gods (God the Father has a father) not over the pulpit as a prophet but as a sermon at a funeral, which should not be taken as Scripture fulfilling God’s sayings to Paul, And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (2 Thessalonians 2:11) That they might be damned who believed not the truth….(2Thessalonians 2:12) And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (Revelation 13:7) (D&C 112:23-26) And the current Mormon prophet is the son of perdition because he has all the saints believing God our Heavenly Father was created by a being greater than Himself but Scripture says there is no greater than our God. (Hebrews 6:13) Therefore, the son of perdition has all the saints breaking the first commandment God gave Moses, Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Does it make sense to reasonable thinking that God would command we have no other gods before Him but really there are? Does He not want us to know this? Why is it a secret? There’s a reason He commanded to have no other gods before Him. Because by believing in false grandpa gods the saints believe our God is an infinitely lesser God putting Lucifer before God. And the moment we put a god before our God, our God becomes an infinitely lesser God. Not only that, our God also becomes a liar. He and the Scriptures says He is the greatest of all. He and the Scriptures says He is the Most High God. He and the Scriptures say He created all things. And in the Scriptures He says over and over there are no gods beside Him. (Isaiah 44:6) (Isaiah 44:8) (Isaiah 45:22) (Hebrews 6:13) Therefore, the saints believing there are gods before Him is the saints believing the son of perdition or the current Mormon prophet over the Scriptures and calling God and the Scriptures a lie. And Isaiah warns, Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20) The saints call the son of perdition (President Nelson) good and good (Jesus Christ) evil. Because President Nelson says Christ and His Father are liars and fosters the false doctrines. Peter, John, Paul, Alma, Nephi, Lehi, Jacob and all the canonized prophets would not allow false doctrines from the Adversary but President Nelson does. President Nelson says Christ did not create all things. (John 1:1-3) Matter/energy cannot be created or destroyed the scientists say therefore the son of perdition or President Nelson says the grandpa gods created these calling Christ and the Scriptures a lie. Well did Abinadi warn the wicked king Noah and his priests, Have ye taught this people that they should observe to do all these things for to keep these commandments? (Mosiah 13:25) I say unto you, Nay; for if ye had, the Lord would not have caused me to come forth and to prophesy evil concerning this people. (Mosiah 13:26) And what is the commandment Abinadi taught that the people do not obey? Thou shalt have no other God before me. (Mosiah 12:35) Know ye not that I speak the truth? Yea, ye know that I speak the truth; and you ought to tremble before God. (Mosiah 12:30) And it is a false doctrine to say God our Heavenly Father has rarely spoke to us in Scripture. (3 Nephi 27:26), (3 Nephi 24:1). (2 Nephi 31:20), (2 Nephi 31:11) (D&C 49:20) Beware of the doctrine of the scribes and Pharisees, which are today’ Church leaders. (Matthew 16:6-12) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. (Mathew 23:15)

Thank you for teaching me how to recognize the difference between Satan's influence versus God & Jesus Christ's Influence. I appreciate that Both of you are not afraid to address this important part of the Plan of Salvation and recognizing that "there is an opposition in All things". I loved when you mentioned that if there's a situation that I start to feel uncomfortable or unsafe, that I can call out the Name of Jesus Christ! Even if it's thinking about His Name and focusing on Jesus Christ's Name through petition and prayer. ✝️🙏❤️🕊️ This is something that I wish I could have been taught during my school days, especially in my teen & early Young Adult years in College. I realize that this answer seems like a no brainer, but I think the Church culture and environment (as well as my own understanding, or lack thereof) caused me to forget that I could always ask God to help me, even in the little things like this. Perhaps I also confused my views about how my Parents treated me, and so I thought my Father in Heaven would treat me the same way, not realizing that Jesus Christ is was trying to show me what & how Father in Heaven is, though His Love & Actions. However, I'm glad I know this now and I hope I can remember this simple way for protecting myself Physically and Spiritually.

I love that you're keeping the balance between who we strive to see ourselves as (being True followers of Jesus Christ and Father in Heaven, through the Holy Spirit) and then realizing the reality of ourselves (acting religiously pious as Pharisees and Sadducees.). I'm glad you balance Mercy with Justice and applying both aspects of our character: spiritually minded child vs carnally minded child.

Thank you for not only sharing your passion for these scriptures in Isaiah, but also using "much boldness" in preaching the Word of God! It reminds me of the many Prophets in The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ, who taught with much boldness unto their own people. Like the Prophet Jacob (Nephi's brother), Abinadi, and Alma the Older & Younger. Also, great Men like Captain Moroni and Pahoran during the War for Godly Freedom chapters! After learning more about Isaiah this year, I have grown to understand and love God's message to His People! I'm glad you're also helping call ourselves out in these latter days. I feel like we here in America especially need the reminders to Awaken unto God! I hope that with the Lord's help, I can have the balance of His Corrections & Love! 😊❤

What is sad and tragic is that Michael doesn't see past his fame, fortune, and self importance from having been funded and forged by mormon culture and the system that created who and what he is to realize that all the problems he faced are from the problems in mormonism. But no, let's not identify those problems, double down on the "covenants" and commitments and emotional manipulation disguised as truth manifestations that are the systems of control of the church. Fear of losing everything keeps him in the church. When there is no fear, then he will see the truth, and a real epiphany will take place.

I'm so sad to come to the end of this journey with you guys. I watch your show twice each week, once in the beginning by myself and a second time on Sunday as a spiritual CFM booster with my family as we drive to church. I always hear something different the second time around I missed the first time, or the spirit really reiterates what I need to hear to help teach our YW. I don't know what I'll do without your channel, but I've been so blessed to have been taught by you two! Staying vertically connected is my favorite saying. Thank you so much for your time and insight ❤
