Win win for Africa and China not like the colonist west

With the system that China has right now, China is the Best Choice to help develop Africa. She has unlimited amount of funds, cheap and efficient labor force. And she will finish on time as promised.

China only has 7% arable land and no country in the world can squeeze more out of the land than the Chinese. Seeing all the good land in Africa not fully utilized she wants to help. If Africa can feed itself with surplus, then it can export to other countries. China has been able to lift 600 millions Chinese out of poverty it is much easier to repeat that feat in Africa with its vast and rich arable land. China had help from more developed countries during its early stage of development. Now this is one way to pay forward in Africa. Please stop being suspicious!

The best part? It's hard to believe that Africa possess over 60% of the world's arable land and the vast majority has remained unfarmed for hundreds of years. Even today, you'd think they would have learned something from other cultures about farming and done something about it. Now, China has provided a short cut for them. They don't need to go through the long stages of saving and building capital equipment when China is willing to bring that all in. I still can't get over the fact that with all that land, the Africans are still have big famines and need AID all the time. Can't they connect the dots?

Africans can feed themselves. However when they are forced into a political system where they need to sell food for money for small things...having a large farm becomes harder. That in between (money and rising cost of living) causes more issues that you realise.

Especial fertilizer, how developed country produce food more efficiently is all based on use of fertilizer, selection and even produce the fertilizer would be arfica's future focus in agriculture. modern Fertilizer actually quite hard to produce, it require industry basics.

India has more arable land , Africa has lot of arable land but all kind of vegetables , rice ,wheat, fruits are not cultivated in Africa . Barley these kinds of only cultivated in Africa

It is not true that Zimbabwe was once the breadbasket of Africa(what even of the world). What is true, is that in the old Rhodesia they were just behind South Africa in terms of general food production and their yields were in some cases better as that of South Africa due to better rainfall etc. The country was however a net-exporter of agricultural products especially cut flowers and tobacco. South Africa is the only country in Africa that is self sufficient in most foods except for rice and lately also wheat because we have half the population of Zimbabwe and Mosambique also in South Africa, which we have to feed. Obesity is a big problem in South Africa nowadays in comparison with the sixties and seveties!!!

Actually no. Did you not even watch the video before you comment this.? I don't like saying this but without China Africa will still be way behind what it is now. I mean stats, graph, gdp, proverty, employment etc speaks for itself. Look up before and after China in Africa. Africa needs infrastructure more then free food. And no Africa is not capable of doing all this alone, if it was, it would have done it long before China came in Africa.
