Tales of the Jedi--A Waste of a Good Premise
This show was neat, but it left a lot to be desired. Hoping for an improvement in potential follow-ups.

If you want to criticize TOTJ for contradicting lore, there are plenty of examples to choose from. It’s beyond me that you picked an episode that doesn’t adhere to that criticism. Something something hating just to hate something something
I love how we lost all of the EU to avoid contradictions and yet Disney can’t go 1 year without contradicting their OWN content
Crazy how "Tales of the Jedi" is a series that only focuses on 2 jedi.
I'll never understand the need for the pilot with Ahsoka's backstory, pure unnecessary 'fanservice' if you can even call it that as no one seems to like it
I’m tired of Ahsoka. It also feels like Filoni’s going over his head.
I felt like episode 1 should've been focused on Plo and Ahsoka
IMO, Dooku is the most wasted character in canon. Nobody ever talks about him and I'd honestly think his story could be WAY more interesting than even Anakin. Imagine an Andor style Dooku trilogy, now that's something I'd watch!
If only Dave could come up with an original name instead of taking from a beloved EU story in order to bait those fans.
I liked the Dooku episodes, but they did feel pretty rushed, and I honestly prefer the Legends backstory where he turns to the darkside after Qui Gon’s death.
Honestly the Dooku part was the best bits, Ahsoka though just becoming an overexposed character at point, It's now getting to a point where you sigh when she appears. The character feels worn out now. Filoni really needs to learn to let go at this point, Yes Ahsoka was his Character but see seems to be now stealing the spotlight from other characters as well.
I actually LOVED Tales fo the Jedi! I hope it gets more seasons!
It’s amazing how much they can undo their own canon without even trying
The best Disney can offer us is potential, it’s sad.
I can imagine how much more worthwhile Tales would’ve been had it been given a longer Runtime. 15 minutes just wasn’t enough for the stories being told to truly settle.
Mr. Talks, you forgot to mention Filoni’s classic problem of changing Yaddle’s lightsaber color from orange to green.
Big rant cos I need to vent...
I love how people shit on the carefully curated world of the EU for being convoluted without ever reading any of them and then go off to talk about how fantastic CW and basically all of Disney is....
As someone who has read the Ahsoka book and is a massive Ahsoka fan, you're right they do break the Canon and its really stupid. I was really annoyed that they didn't just adapt the books story because the final conflict between her and the Inquisitor is really fast but its because she finally accepts the role of Grey jedi and uses both the dark and light side of the force to beat him. Its a quick conflict but she has had a books worth of time to find herself in the force.
Dookus turn to the dark side should be its own film tbh
This show was good . I wish they were longer episodes
