To Kyle: You can actually switch the Strimmer cables to motherboard mode by pressing and holding the M1 button till you see a change where it syncs to the motherboard rather than having to remove the panel and press them buttons again. Hope this helps and the more you know 🤓

There's a big downside to this though : you lose customization options. The effects generated from the mobo are kind of boring since it's all the generic stuff. Lian Li knows it's product better than anyone else and it shows. I really hope they'll develop a software to control the LEDs soon

Nailed it on the first one, with rain in Icue, and starry night in aura sync. Those are the only 2 I use in my green and white build. White primary lighting, with the drops and stars green.

Hey Kyle this was a really cool video, not often you get to see someone experiment with a variety of effects, usually its just set and forget. Its one of THE nicest RGB computer builds ive ever seen, and there tons of em, ya really out did yourself on this combo. Just the white theme alone is superb, but with all the lighting options available this is one build id never get tired of, you know what you have there dont you - its a "Mood Machine"-lol (like mood rings)

Here are the theme timestamps: 1. Ice - 3:40 (particularly loved this one for its effects) 2. Outrun - 9:56 (loved this, very retro) 3. Valentine's Day - 14:08 4. Gundam - 17:46 (probably my favorite color scheme out of all, even if it doesn't have effects) 5. Cyberpunk - 19:36 (could've used more blue, but it's awesome anyway) 6. Biohazard - 22:43 7. Printer ran out of ink - 26:09 Thank you Kyle for taking the time to do this for us. Really hope you're doing better, king! We're rooting for you!

If the cables are the Strimer Plus you can control the lights with the mobo if you hold "M1" for a few seconds on the controller. Puts it into mobo mode if its plugged into a header.

You can use Armoury Crate to control the Strimer Plus. As long as its hooked up to the motherboard you can set it as an rgb strip. Hold the up button on the controller for a few seconds and it should allow you to control it through Armoury Crate.

I enjoyed this video, showing all the capabilities of these tools and the creativity. Just wanted to mention that in iCue you can change the RAM layout for horizontal modes. Sometimes they are not always 1234 so you get the "glitchy" travel between them. For example on my rig I had to change the layout to 2413 so it flowed nicely. Just an FYI

Loved the ice theme...I generally don't like RGB (new case won't even have a window/glasspanel) but I'd take that one.

still my most favorite build ive seen. wasnt an rgb fan until i saw rgb done right.

my favorite was actually outrun even though i have no idea what that is but it has some cool blend of colors that fit the white aesthetic of the PC. for the rest of the themes i personally felt like the color red didn't really fit in there because it looked so bright is was almost pink, and i'm not a fan of the color yellow too. icy would be 2nd place even though it's more or less common with white builds that have a lot of RGB but many times they'll just be static white or turquoise, but this one had a lot of blue (which is my favorite color) and looked really cozy too.

I want to see an 20 min episode of kyle eating a steak.
