700clx engine is design from the old kawasaki 650. this 270 crank is the new boy in town.

@@richardchileshe9910 not at all. I mean this gear box isn’t the smoothest but I’m not perceiving harsh or strange noises…. I feel it quite similar to a Duke 390 I previously owned. The only two things I would worry about if I were you is that the front sprocket was loose or an overly tight chain.

Man I swear, a 270 degree crank is the only way to go on parallel twins. Every single manufacturer should be making 270 degree parallels. They sound like a Vtwin instead of a scooter. Can't wait to find one of these 450's used. It's my ideal bike setup, but I won't pay dealer fees on top of MSRP lol.

Where are y’all headed and do you ship?

Since you’re a dealer, can you tell me if the bikes come assembled in their crates? I’m looking to pick one up at my local dealership and I’m not gonna pay an assembly fee if they don’t even have to put it together.

They do have to assemble the Motorcycles from the crates. Some take longer than others.. it just depends on the model

they jus announce a 650sr and a 500sr. both are inline 4.

450 because easy enough to not be too scared and gives you way more room to grow into it

How do the ergos compare to an R3 or ninja 400? I hate the riding position of the ninja my R3 feels much racier than my old ninja. Is it on par with R3?

When I went to buy this bike, the battery was dead. They replaced and I got it home. The next day the battery was dead. Somebody from the dealership is coming to my house to put another battery in and try to figure out if there is another issue. I should have bought a Yamaha

Same here, I sat on both and the ninja 400 felt like the cheaper bike, despite costing more. I felt like I was going to overpay for for the Ninja. On the otherhand, the 450SR was just something else in person, definitely ahead of the Ninja 400 in terms of features, looks and sound.

@@pureredxD and it’s my first bike on insurance and I’m only 24 and liv n Texas definitely check with a bunch of insurance companies cuz some can’t find it cuz it’s new and some like Allstate and progressive will charge out the ass
