This is such an amazing looking bike. I love how they sound and this will probably be the bike that gets me back on the road.
I reckon these are going to be extremely popular. Light and plenty of power. An experienced rider will have a blast on these too. They already sound amazing stock and with an aftermarket pipe they'll have you grinning even more.

Don't... You'll have never ending problems with it. I lived in China for about nine years till recently. I had to basically change the entire engine and sent the ECU away for factory reflash twice, the mechanics were poorly trained as well. I would never ever touch a CFMoto again. Just buy a Kawasaki, it's what they're copying anyway and it's more reliable and the quality is 100 times better. Benelli as well, another Chinese made brand and there's a reason why people sell them so quickly after buying them. Both CFMoto and Benelli are terrible bikes to own and live with.
We sell these at our bike shop here in the US, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with how solid the bike feels. The suspension is decent, the chassis is very stable and the bike rides really well. I come out of working on European bikes and am used to seeing good quality parts as opposed to some of the cheaper things I see on Japanese bikes. CF Moto is doing well with their bikes from all of them we've been getting for the last year, we've been selling their ATV line for years and support from them has been decent. I hope this bike gains market, as well as their 800cc adventure bike which I can see possibly owning.

@@drowswolley4661 So far, every one we've put on the sales floor was gone in a couple days. One thing is they're $4500 here, so nearly half the price of the japanese bikes in the same range. Hi. Can I please ask, I've got a new 450 about a month ago and I was wondering do you get a clunk or thud when you change gears? The gear thud or clunk is worse on down shifts. Does your bike do this on gear changes? I've taken the bike back to the dealers twice now and they tell me this is normal. Do you get the same thing?

Lovely looking bit of kit. I would get rid of the slogans though. The mainstream manufacturers need to up their game . Personally I love the clx700
Thanks for the review, looks like an interesting bike (loved the comment about the "gorgonzola" chinglish slogans on the side - lol). However the great question is, how does it compare with the Kawasaki Ninja 400? After all this is supposed to be the gold standard of 400cc sportbikes.
Watch out big four theres a new kid on the block!

Very good review! Probably asking too much, an inset view (picture within picture) of the dash, rev counter and speed would be a great addition to any video as you ride. Might help viewers get a better feel of a bike while sitting in front of a screen. But might be too much of an ask? This bike very well price in Australia at about GBP4000 rideaway.
how the reliability and quality of this bike ? i am thinking between this or the cbr250rr . please advise thanks
I have a tonne of bikes but im thinking of getting 1 of these for my run around town bike. Only issue is resale value as it wont hold its price compared to the Japanese bikes? But just like when Hyundai and Kia cars come onto the market no one knew much about them now they are everywhere. Also KTM is involved in a joint venture with all the small capacity bikes with CF moto Time for a test ride
Just pre ordered mine in Sydney aus, should arrive next month. Itll be my first road bike coming from dirt bikes, had so much fun on the test ride and was surprised how comfy it was. More than enough power for a newbie and the exhaust just sounds so perfect i couldnt stop giving it a rev. Great review and I totally agree with the cliche slogans on the side lol.

The big problem of this bike at least in France is the 6500€ tag, just only 200€ shy of the Ninja 400, and 400 of the Honda CB 500 with its reputation and 5 years of full guarantee. At 6500€ and the 47.5 hp A2 limit, you're in competition with plenty of medium sized bikes. If you are on the budget side, at 5500€, it's 1000 less but not slow or dull very well equipped, you have the Zontes GK 350 39 HP 188 kg wet (a bit heavy) with a 17 liters tank.
What about the quick shifter?
What are the service intervals for this bike?
Hey, great Video! My question: Is it possible to take another person wiht you on the bike? Greetings!
I'm expecting these to show up in NZ in time for next summer, and I'm hoping to have enough cash in hand by then for a new bike to be an option, considering how the used market has gone clinically insane in the past year or two. I continue to have my doubts about CFmoto, having heard about their plastic subframes and seeing how heavily they lean on Yamaha-adjacent aesthetics, but I'm cautiously optimistic about the 450. I think as a trusted OEM for KTM it's now in their best interest to develop their own brand value in segments that KTM does not compete in, and I believe that if they can put their newly-developed engines into good frames with passable finishes and running gear, there's much fun to be had for the money. The Ninja 400 is a built-to-price machine which manages to come as a pretty complete package for all but the most enthusiastic owners, so if these guys can make something that holds up in long-term reviews, they've got a competitor on their hands. I guess the main thing I am concerned about is that factory spares, dealer/first-party support and aftermarket parts will never be as safe of a bet as they are on a are on a popular Japanese bike; but in fairness the same could be said of Italian marques ;). I also worry that CF doesn't have the incumbent status which would incline them to support their motorcycle projects through thick and thin, posing a risk to the consumer of something like what happened to Hyosung, in terms of depreciation and disinterest in the brand. Hopefully they sort the livery out for the model years to follow. I thought the KRT livery on the 400 looked a little dumb, but this goes above and beyond :|
