Taking the 2024 Subaru Outback Touring XT on a 300 Mile Roadtrip!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video we take the 2024 Subaru Outback Touring XT on a 300 mile roadtrip from the to the 2024 MAMA Spring Rally. The Subaru Outback is an SUV that offers a unique body style in a variety of trim levels all geared towards the outdoor enthusiast. The Outback model has recently surpassed 3,000,000 units delivered to customers which is not surprising given what it has to offer. During my week with the vehicle, MPG wasn't great in the city but was above EPA ratings on the highway where I was able to achieve nearly 30 MPG averaging over 70 MPH. This model that is fully equipped has very nice amenities but comes in at nearly $45k. For this price point, it is missing a few things that one would expect to see such as a wireless charging pad. Outside of the infotainment and Eyesight driver assistance technology, it does everything very well. Let me know what you think of the Outback in the comments below!

Wireless charging is available as an option, and most owners HATE IT with a passion. Connect other devices into other USB ports or an inverter that plugs into the 12v outlet.

As a wireless charge pad owner , don't get it !!! It overheats the phone and doesn't power the phone much. I have already bought the parts to remove it and have a little more space in that spot. Should note though that's a minor complaint and I have been enjoying the car otherwise.

Wireless charging is slow, and just adds more EMF. The plugged-in phone will charge faster. Thanks for the review.

Bought the Base model Outback with fewer bells and whistles like three previous Foresters. Always stayed away from the *snappy* models due to price and maintenance issues with them. Base model cost was $30,000. Trade in value on 2018 well maintained Foresters was $11,500, $5,000 down cut the price in half for new vehicle and or a monthly cost of $250.00 and bought additional warranty coverage for the long haul. Very happy with it. After a 1,000 mile break in, drove three hours like you did and was a very nice drive but the seat did get pretty solid toward the end of the drive and was made to stop and stretch few times also. Going to add a seat cushion and see how that works. Thanks for the vid! Peace!

The 2025 will add certain new features to the Limited trim.

I have no idea why people would trust a car to steer itself. I would turn off lane centering. And emergency steering is absolutely frightening. Did you forget to adjust the seatbelt height? I am thinking those headrests on the second row could come off when not needed, and have a much better rear view out the back window. Regarding the seats, if they are not perfect, it is certainly not impressive on a vehicle costing greater than $40K. So the drive camera goes on each time --- ouch! I would avoid that trim level.

Subaru's do most things acceptable or slightly above . The cost however is starting to get expensive .

The front of that vehicle is just ugly. 😂
