2024/2025 Chevy Traverse RS vs GMC Acadia Denali vs Buick Enclave Avenir | Feature & Pricing!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I compare the all new 2024 Chevy Traverse RS, GMC Acadia Denali, and 2025 Buick Enclave Avenir features, options, and pricing. All three vehicles are new for their latest model year and are now the same size as they were before. Each vehicle has unique styling that helps differentiate them but outside of this, they use the same 2.5L Turbo 4 cylinder paired to 8 speed automatic transmission. When it comes to features and options, these are the most fully loaded variant of each model and do include some differences but maybe not as many as one would assume. Super Cruise is standard on the Traverse RS but optional on the Acadia and Enclave. Panoramic sunroof is optional on Acadia but standard on Traverse and Enclave. Finally, when it comes to pricing, there is little difference between the Acadia Denali Reserve and Enclave Avenir but the Traverse RS is substantially cheaper with the majority of the same equipment. Thanks for putting this together. I had gone through a lot of this yesterday using the build pages for these models. Nice to see it summed up in one place though.

This was great. Equinox, Terrain, and Envision would be a great one to see, too!

One thing that the Buick has over the other two is brake auto hold. (You can see it next to the parking brake in the Buick photo). I don't have it in my Tahoe, but my wife has it on her Palisade. It makes a huge difference when sitting in traffic at a light, especially for me after having dislocated my right knee. To not have to sit with my foot on the brake in my wife's car makes such a difference. I'm sure it wouldn't cost GM much to add it into all their cars.

I think they did a great job with packaging besides small convenience features like memory seats and second row sunshades. I don’t understand the hype behind the second row ventilated seat feature, it’s like people just want new cars to have everything they’ve seen another new car with just for the sake of saying they have it too. A lot of times they’re features you rarely use but you did pay a premium to obtain.

This is very true. I don't know how much I would use them given I don't haul people and/or have a family but given the competition at this price point, I would expect that feature. If the vehicle was less expensive and didn't include it, that might be passable. The Acadia and Enclave are bumping up in price to a base Lexus TX Hybrid or equal to a fully loaded gas TX 350 Luxury. Both have trade off's in features but I would find it hard to see that the GM products would beat Lexus in material usage/quality. The Grand Highlander on the other hand can be had in it's fully loaded Hybrid Max form for less money than those two vehicles. The Traverse RS stands out to me as the best value and most competitive price wise.

@@CarsMadeSimple Perhaps that’s your perception of Lexus speaking, but that’s where you would be sadly mistaken. The Lexus TX is about as luxurious as the new Chevrolet Traverse RS. The GMC Acadia Denali certainly is above that of the Lexus TX’s interior in design as well as material usage/quality and has a lot more expensive material choices like laser etched authentic woods, real metal accents, and high grade diamond stitched leather throughout the interior. The GMC also has better executed technology for less money than the fully loaded TX and the Denali’s exterior execution looks more upscale to me as well.

Is the Acadia Denali option for performance suspension is the damping adjusted like the Enclave? Also what's up with GM not giving the memory seats to anything other than top trims to these triplet? I was very interested in either AT4 or the Z71 until found out neither of them can have memory seats!!!!!!!!!! and only AT4 can have ventilated front seats. This is a deal breaker for me

I was looking at the same issues. Regarding pricing, local Chevy/GM dealers have 5K markups on Traverse models. I'm in Maryland. That's insane.

I'm someone who would never use the "Super Cruise", and I don't want to have to pay for it. I've noticed when building these SUV's on the internet, there usually is a package I would want that also includes the "Super Cruise" - which would make me look at a different choice. It looks like the Enclave doesn't have separate switches ( NOT in the screen ) for the heated/cooled seats - bad idea. I also don't like the way MANY of the manufacturers are "tacking on" what looks like a long tablet, stuck INTO the top of the dash. I saw a vehicle recently ( I don't remember which one ) that had built a housing around the big screen - that looked MUCH better and integrated into the dash. I owned an Enclave a few years ago, and loved it, it rode much smoother than the Envision Avenir I currently own. ( I might have to go back to the Enclave next time, as long as they don't change too many of the things I like about it )

You won’t even hear the 4-cylinder unless you’re doing 0-60 mph test. It’s hilarious how many trolls try using fear mongering tactics to convince people this motor won’t be dependable because it has 4-cylinders yet it was just fine in an even larger Chevy Silverado pickup truck.

Without a doubt the best "value" is the Traverse, as it always has been. However, I cannot stand to look at those ridiculous 22" black wheels and realize it is the only option! Really, black only!! I, for one, am tired of this "police cruiser" look we have adapted as "modern"! The Acadia allow you to pick and choose options as you like them, something that GMC has done for years better than either Chevrolet or Buick divisions. For me, the Buick gets the nod for luxury, for looking like luxury, not like a "rock crawler" like the Traverse. To their credit, GM has done a good job making each of these three row SUV's unique. We've loved our 2018 Traverse Premier, but there is no Traverse in our future.
