What do you think? Should we matte clear the GTO or leave it as is?

I'd wait and see what it looks like after buffing is done. To me, clearing it is not a lot different from painting it. Either way, it's not really original anymore. I like clearing some old cars to show the patina in an artistic way, but I'm not feeling it on that GTO. But I live in Frisco, so I like things "fancy."

I had a 67 but it was not that nice. I did do front disk and replaced the complete brake system. Rebuild 327, love this little engine, awesome power. Miss my 67

The respect and positivity Dennis shows his employees is great, it really shows the employees look like they love working there and the customer gets an awesome product back.just a great successful business. Get you some of that.⚡️TCB ⚡️
Alex must work his ass off when he ain’t drinking coffee with Dennis.
Nice to see Alex joining in the conversation with Dennis about the cars & what's been done. They bounce off each other nicely. Great work on those cars. 👍

lol not gonna lie, alex seems super cool but I wasn't sure if he had the chops to lead the show - I was genuinely super impressed with how natural he is talking, love to see it!

Totally agree Brian. The shop and personnel are driven by passion. I understand the financial aspect. We need to keep young people interested.....old automotive engineer...
The knowledge that Dennis has combined with the mechanical skills that Alex has is awesome to see. I now know where the expression "cut from the same clothe " came from.

Well done Dennis! Alex is such a fine mechanic as are the rest of your employees!! You are truly a joy to watch!
I love that the camera man gets the aperture up so we can see the details and not get distracted by the camera focus going in and out, incredible camera work!

@@markgriffin4888 yes, I’ve heard so much about Utes, but they are virtually impossible to find here in the US. The owner of a cigar store, here in Dallas, TX (near our house), used to have one. It was always parked outside the shop, when it was open. Very cool.
Isnt Alex only in his 20’s?? To know the in’s and outs of all these cars has to be a god given gift

Look forward to these videos every week!
These follow ups are great, thank you Dennis and Alex for this!

Always a pleasure watching Coffee Walk, the respect Dennis shows, the knowledge he shares and, not to be forgotten, the way Alex is growing with his skills and knowledge too.
I enjoy Coffee Walk and really liked the ride to your local restaurant and you talking about how the rode has changed. How about one telling us the history of Collins Brothers?
Unbelievable. You dont even hear the starters turn on these vehicles they start so good. Just amazing work guys. These guys are doing things the RIGHT way. Which is the only way. It's only original once.
That guy is a heckuva worker. Very skilled too. You can tell he cares about doing a great job. You don't always find that in people, especially so young.
Caught myself saying "outstanding" must have picked it up from your videos; you do say it often. Great content; I watch every one.

That El Camino is perfect. The GTO is nice enough to leave as is and a testament to the original owner who obviously Loved it just like me. I Rode in a Judge once 455 4spd when I was 13 Pontiac fan for life. I have owned a 75 Granville convertible 455 4v for 28 years and a 1989 GTA TA for 5. Great job people.

I agree that GTO is perfect the way it is. Ready to go eat asphalt !!
See what the GTO looks like with pdr and a buff otherwise I’d like to see a restoration carried out, not a huge fan of patina. El Camino looks amazing, great to see that everything back to original after the other cowboys messed it up !
You guys got both looking showroom fresh. The Goat will be awesome as untouched original paint. 😎👍🇨🇦
The El Camino is stunning, great work.
All right Alex! Nice to hear you add some excellent context. Hey Dennis, give him a raise!
Awesome shop and Awesome work .......... thanks for keeping them original .
Great job boys. Well done.
Denis is the type of guy you just be quiet and listen to and nod when he something cool as hell
Hell yeah brother! I thank the universe y'all exist...
The internet loves an update!
Totally love this video. I like when you find the cars but like this as much, if not more .
I love the coffee walks, the picking up of the barnfinds, but the shop work is where it's at for me...thanks Dennis...
"I hate to even get in and out of it." LOL! That thing really is a true time capsule. It's got to be about the only one that original, and in that good of a condition. Absolutely museum material.
Nice to see Alex growing in confidence and becoming more involved and verbal with the build updates.
Another good show Dennis thank you !! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Man I LOVE THAT EL CAMINO !!! My wife got me a '76 El Camino last year for my birthday. I love those trucks. Great video !!!
Crazy Alex looks so young, but he has some serious mechanical ability. Awesome episode.
The Holy Grail of El Caminos it's just outstanding
The Goats are why I hang around!
Dennis. I can most certainly hear it running
Thanks for asking on the Pontiac it's only original once you have it looking great, a car you can drive and really enjoy, and not a trailer queen, great videos thanks to all the crew.
One of my favourite watches in a week this channel. 👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely love Alex. He's being taught by the best.
MR COLLINS LOVE WATCHING YOUR CHANNEL
Alex have grown so much under Dennis care. Great 👍 job and really enjoy the Vlog.
Leave it as it is that truly is a dream job to be able to make a classic back into a daily driver so cool we will all be referring back to ur knowledge Dennis for many years to come thank you for sharing it with us
To be so young Alex sure is talented with the cars!
Good help is hard to find, but it looks like YOU found it. Your team is GREAT. The only thing that would be better would be if I could afford that goat. Just awesome.
That Jeep is beautiful
It's cool that we still have people bringing the American Muscle back to perfection. This younger generation doesn't have a appreciation for the VINTAGE CARS, JEEPS, TRUCKS ETC..👍👍GREAT JOB GUYS!
You’re knowledge in Jeep’s just blows my mind!!! I learn something every time I watch one of your videos…
The elcamino is amazing my favorite of all of Dennis's vehicles and that 283 is favorite engine ever from Chevrolet I've owned many of them from this era Dennis's is just living the dream
Thankyou for treating them with care...
Dennis you are one of the only channels my 4 year old son will actually sit and watch fully with me. If I were to buy some merch would you sign it for us!? Please and thank you!🔥🔥🔥👍👍❤
With the variety of cars in the scene today Resto Mods are super popular but I am still a purist at heart and love that Dennis and Alex leave it as it was when it left the factory. To me its art and engineering marvel. Y'all really are great care takers of these cars of yesteryear
Nice to see Alex getting more comfortable in front of the camera. Great video. Cheers from Southern Thailand.
Great to see Alex commenting. Love the vibe of the show
That el camino is incredible.
What does Alex have? He should own one of the holy grail cars.
That El Camino is so perfect. I've never seen a stock one look so sharp!
follow up videos on the barn find pieces are great - keep em coming. Esp love the GTO work in progress - no need to repaint that original finish - just wash, buff and drive to enjoy!
I once had a '69 just like in Red. Keep it original ! As much as you can. I sure wish I kept mine.
Oh boy, I fell in love with that El Camino. You all brought that baby back to beautiful. I had a '64 Chevelle Malibu I bought from my dad. Had the 327 HP engine, 4 barrel with the posi rear end, but was a 3 speed manual (could never figure that choose out). I always liked that 327 engine, they were a near perfect engine, but it burned through clutches a lot. Well I guess I burned through those clutches.
Barn find originals are the bomb Dennis. Great finds with the Burgandy 69 GTO, the 65 El Camino and the 67 Jeepster. Love to see them freshened up and brought back to life. Keep doing what you do. 😎👍
Ah.. I've gotten spoiled you didn't eat anywhere . Alex is really good and he's really into what he's doing . I'm sure he Does not considerIt work. I've said this before your restoration are fantastic .. The Cars From Virginia ,That's where I live I was interested in them. The great video thanks .
You guys are the absolute best. Good to hear more from Alex.
They are passionate about the vehicles, love the show !
Outstanding video as usual. Many thanks for sharing.
Dennis is most certainly a great and generous gentleman and treats everyone with the utmost respect that’s why he has such a large following I would love to meet home some day
Alex is coming out of his shell. 😃 (all for the better, his knowledge and expertise is growing by the week)
Amazing transformations on very rare low mileage examples. 1965 was a pinnacle year for Chevrolet, they were at the top of their game for sure. The wheel trim rings on the '67 Jeepster were an exact copy of 1958 Cameo Carriers. Keep the GTO original, wet sanding with 1000 grit often times produces amazing results. Thank you for the long awaited updates Dennis, love the channel.
Great to see how you well you guys restore the gems you find. Great channel, keep ‘em coming!
Beautiful cars and update. It feels good to see them again and see the progress in the works. Really like the color on that blue Jeep.
You guys do some Great work on restoring the old vehicles thanks for the updates on them
wow the el camino is incredible
Outstanding..
Nice to see the progress and final products!! Look forward to the next one.
Your attention to detail and given somebody a brand new car, is outstanding. I grew up in the 60s the GTO 's Chargers. What a great channel. Thank you Dennis and all your men I love coffee walk.
That GTO is the best thing iv seen on 4 wheels in a long time...👍🙂👍🇬🇧🇺🇲🇬🇧🇺🇲
God my uncle had that car , I remember just sitting in it!! Love the idea of leaving it all original with a rebuilt Heart !!!! Engine. Freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!
I just watched the El Comino video yesterday. Was wondering how it was going, Next day here it is.
Great stuff
64’ & 65’ Chevelle El Camino’s were the best styles IMHO. 64’ no bowtie 65’ had the grille bowtie
We love to see the progress Dennis. Thanks!
Jeeps look cool. Thanks for showing them.
Glad to see Alex talking to the camera. (Who's the guy with Alex........)
Turned out great. The hubcaps look like 67 Camaro hubcaps. I have an original 65k mile 67 Camaro with them on it.
Great job ! Just Subscribe! Enjoyable to see projects moving to completion... and no body stressing out ! And super amazing Original cars Much thanks 🚗
Dennis Alex has done an outstanding job on these barn finds! I am looking forward to seeing the GTO when you get it done! Well done!
You guys do good work Dennis! thumbs up!
Beautiful rides!
Love love these updates!! Best video yet. My opinion.. Keep it up ladys and fellas!
The jeepster needs to be in a museum, i've seen very few and are restored. WoW
Dennis, definitely do the update videos on the cars your restoring.....very awesome
It’s quite obvious that the workshop is Alex’s safe place. Very able and talented young man obviously.
