Another great story, Dennis. Thank you! Regarding the Winner tire: Sam Winston had a chain of over 150 tire stores. He had his own brand of tires in house. The performance tire was the Winner. He died in the mid nineties, The stores soon after that.

I agree100% the fact that most of us spend 10 min trying to pick the best appetizer because of trying to keep the check affordable. Dennis keeps it easy and orders all of them most of the time. I love it!! The man lives life. He invests a lot of his life to film these episodes and I feel a little good Meal at the end of a recording day is well earned. A 30 or 60+ min video sharing the knowledge of what we love is priceless in my book. I hope that him and his family benefit well From all the hard work that him and his guys put in. Thank you Mr.Dennis Collins!!’ Really thank you, we appreciate and look forward to every min you produce, edit and post for us. Dennis I just love the way you do business. First you know your business, you know cars and you get all the data on a vehicle before the purchase. You come and fetch the cars yourself so the vehicles don't get damaged which is important with some of the difficult extrications you encounter. You are smooth with all the negotiations, and you pay a fair price to the sellers; everyone is happy with the deal. Then you bring theses cars back to your lot and if you don't flip them to other car enthusiasts, you do A+ restorations to better than new. The bottom line is you have fun doing it. You love your work and it shows. Dennis you are the man!

Did some roll races and pulled him pretty good. My car was a 69 GTO 350hp/400 engine. 3.55 gear with a turbo 400 trans. For a small cubic inch engine the K code ran very good.

You are a national treasure, Dennis, with all of your knowledge. You know your stuff and you save vehicles so they can be appreciated by another generation! What I also love is how well Ford made the fastback Mustang on the original version. So many of the cars of that period are hideous as fast backs - the Bacc-a-ruda - the Marlin and even the first generation Charger. Somehow Ford got the proportions right on the fastback first generation Mustang. The other great thing about this channel is how he continues to feature local eateries. Amazing - or - in his words "outstanding!"

I was traveling yesterday and just now got my weekly Coffee Walk fix. Another great rescue! It's awesome that all 4 seemed to roll. Can't wait to see these back on the road. Hopefully you will do another Coffee Walk on these once Alex gets them running and driving. Doesn't look like it will take much. Thank you for your passion on rescuing these cars. Looks like the year of the Porsche will have to wait as this is going to be the year of the Mustangs.

Dennis those rear tires are from a company called Winston. Aman named Sam Winston owned it. They were a pretty big deal in the Southern California area. If you could find out the history of that car I bet it spent some time in Southern California. I had a set of Winston's on my Ford Courier mini truck and I got a lot of miles out of them. They were a good tire for not a lot of money. From what I've heard the company went out of business some time after Sam passed away.

Yup Sam died when his wife rolled a Jeep wrangler, he was riding in. Grew up in So Cal. had a Wiston shop that use to be a gas station. Bought tires their too. The Wiston winners on the back of that Mustang were no drag tire but cheap and easy to smoke off. What a trip back in time that was! Great score on all 4 cars! + all the goodies !

Always look forward to the Friday show. I would have loved to work for someone like Dennis Collins back when I was young. I am 61 years old now. Got to own a lot of nice Chevy's and had some really good times with fond memories. I noticed all of the oxygen and acetylene bottles standing around with no caps on. Not very smart. Empty or not...you never ever do that. Should be on carts strapped down or chained to the wall or in a cage. Looking forward to next Friday. I live about 90 from where you are located. I will come by and check out your Jeeps and cars. God Bless and God Bless Texas! ✌️

Hey guys, I'm not a huge fan of Fords, but early Mustang is the exception . I worked for Metro Mustang in Atl 05-06 , and saw some awesome restored/survival cars. That said, this summer has renewed an appreciation for the Pony car. I've watched the Coffee Walk series become so much more than the original concept, where Dennis walked around talking about Jeeps... kudos to the team he has built, "outstanding" work and great video by Zack. I remember his first day, his newbie lack of experience compliments the great knowledge Dennis displays. This is my favorite channel for learning about all the different models and makes of various manufacturers. It takes a lot to impress me, knowledge-wise, but I always learn something new or forgotten when watching the show. Just a shout out to let you know what a great job you are doing 👏

You asked about best sports car. I've lived in SF for 40+ years where you see every kind of car imaginable and have been a "car guy" all my life. Always attend Pebble Beach concours, which is in a couple of weeks. I've owned a 66 Mustang Convertible, 65 Stingray Convertible, 81 Porsche 911sc, among many, many "sports cars", but the best one for me was a 65 Porsche 356 coupe. Was my dd for over 20 yrs and I did many cross country trips in it. Absolutely a joy to drive, never let me down. IMHO, it is the best car ever made. Love your show and have followed you since first seeing you on GMG. I appreciate your dedication and your wonderful staff. The dining part at the end of the episode is great too! Thanks, T
