Spring makes this beautiful countryside look and sound with all the birdsong absolutely gorgeous, I can see why you're reluctant to move along. As for the "Curly Wurlies" sounds a bit like an expression my dear late mother used to use ....ever heard of the" Colly Wobbles" for aUpset tummy. I'm really enjoying your podcast. Hi You rwo - Swiss peter here. To save wet knees when putting mooring chains on, think about buying a paint roller handle. You can use it to hook the chain out of the canal without getting on your knees..........

Swans are a rarity over here but all those Canada Geese make it look like a trip along the Trent-Severn Waterway here in Ontario, Canada.

Absolutely beautiful! Don’t hate us, but this will our our ‘cc’ing’ home for the next few years as my husband works in Barnoldswick… really looking forward to it and do lovely to see what’s in store for us! We’re close by in Reedly marina for the next 12 months. Thanks for a great episode!! 🤩🤩🤩

Used to live and work only twelve miles away high in the Dales, the curlews on long summer evenings, you can hear them but they're so high you can hardly see them - thanks for the memories from fifty years ago!

Remember doing the curly’s a few years ago on a hire boat brilliant. Hope to get back there later this year as about to set off across the Rochdale for this year’s cruise.
