TAKEOFF in TAMPA Int. Airport onto a 9 hour journey!
Ғылым және технология
Welcome back to a day in the life of an Airline Pilot!
In todays video I’m taking you on a flight from Tampa FL (KTPA - ICAO) to Frankfurt international airport (EDDF - ICAO) in this video I tried to go a lot more into detail about what’s it like flying such a route across the Atlantic! We departed Tampa Airport at around 7PM in an Airbus A330-200. We wear two pilots in the cockpit and 8 cabin managers. The video will take you a long on the entire flight starting from the push back!
How do we communicate with the ground personal?
Who allows us to start the engines ?
How do we know where to Taxi ?
What is the departure in Tampa ?
What a takeoff and landing looks like from the cockpit.
And a lot of more stuff!
So sit back and enjoy this flight from the United States to Germany crossing the Atlantic Ocean!

Great video as always!! Noticed you had blurred out pfd's and nd's, what type of information could be there that we are not allowed to see? As long as i know they don't contain anything else besides flight parameters and flight data.
@Pascalklr

That’s true, we have a new PR guideline, which is why I have to blur or not show them at all. Hope the video was still nice to watch 🙌✌️

You said a 2 pilot cockpit for a 8.5 flight? When do you need 3? I always thought it was 3 pilot for anything over 8 but less than 12. I assume different rules under EASA?
@Pascalklr
6 ай бұрын
That strongly depends on the company regulations. Have a good day mate 🙌✌️
I tought, when you flying west you should fly in an even number of FL and when east you should fly in odd number of FL.. But you flew in FL380 back to Europe. Was there any exception? Thanks
@Pascalklr

Over the Atlantic Ocean flying in the Organized track system, those rules don’t apply. But other then that your are correct 💪✌️
