I also add an engine scan to the verify temps, oil pressure and fuel selector (selecting the tank with the most fuel).

Another great video! We love our Centennial edition! We recently cracked a cylinder head. Can you do a video on leaning and CHT management? Thanks!!

Great video, good information. Could you please expand it though for a cold start when its in the minuses outside and a hot start, ie trying to start again about half an hour after a flight? My G1 can be a little so and so a half hour later.

What about including looking for red and yellow flags?

A great point, Jeff and a great addition. Absolutely include that in your pre-departure instrument check and also as a quick scan on the runway as takeoff power is set and airspeed comes alive. Thanks!

@@CirrusAircraft :) I am not familiar with the G1000 and associated flags. Just came out of KA350i with ProLine 21 and Fusion. Lots of flags (and messages!) in those systems to look for.

Josh Johnson because you like less performance and less safety? I guess so. More likely you’re salty you can’t afford one or are simply an internet troll. Both very appealing qualities... you should start a tinder profile, it will be very popular

Yes, thank you, it was quite useful indeed for preflights...for my future flights in my shiny, brand-new superb SR22T.......in x-plane 🥲
