Take Off For Tim!
Ғылым және технология
Helicopter Duck, a wind up tin toy that Tim picked up at the Nuremberg Toy Fair back in 1981. Although however hard the duck pedals away, that elusive take off never happens!
This video explores toys with propellers.
Puddle Jumpers date from the 1960s - a stick with a propeller at the top. Twist it between your hands, and off it flies!
A children's windmill with a music box built in. When the windmill spins, the tune plays...
Spinning daisies, that you just to blow to make them spin...
A wham diddle - rub a stick along the gadget, and the propeller will turn.
Finally the beach walker, or Strandbeest, as the Dutch inventor Theo Jansen calls them. This is a miniature version. The real ones are 20 feet high!

Tim's too cool to look where they fly. ❤️😎
Sometimes, nothing beats a good ol video with Tim and his toys. Simply lovely ❤️
Love it when Tim goes on a rampage =P (throws flying projectiles randomly in the studio )
staying at home with a cold, watching Tim do stuff with his endless collection of toys. very nice.
Tim's videos always remind me not to take life too seriously. Thanks for helping me reset my mind 🙂
LOVE the Theo Jansen's sculptures toy
I've been watching tim's videos for years and only now I've noticed they're a single take. that's some professional work right there
Tim I have been watching your videos for years. I think you are THE best KZreadr in the world. You seem like such a kind soul and a pleasant person. In a world full of hatred, war and drama, your videos give me happiness and joy. I hope you continue to make these forever. Thank you for sharing your wonderful collection of cool toys and trinkets!!
I had that 2nd toy when O used to be a kid but it was only of plastic...😅 I really enjoyed that toy...😃😁
That last toy is incredible. Thanks Tim.

It's called a strand beest u can buy one on ebay not very expensive at all
I can remember getting a wind-up toy for Easter when I was 5 years old. It was metal and my mother showed me how to windit up. It was an Easter rabbit riding a tricycle, similar to the duck you showed that rides a tricycle too. We just caught the tail-end of metal toys when the 1970s started. Everything was made of plastic by the mid 1970s.
This man is so precious!! Excellent selection of toys. Love the Strandbeest at the end, too!
I love your work Tim. I don't watch these videos too frequently but when I do, they're always a nice little treat.
Tim is such a kind lad!
Those walking beasts are amazing. Like you are, Toy Man Tim.
Tim is like a grandpa of You Tube✨
Man oh man, God knows how much I look forward to these end of the week treats. These videos are the best full stop to a busy work week. Lovely 😊
Sometimes I watch Grand Illusions videos to forget about life's problems, it works like a charm. :)
Wow, that first toy had some life in it!
tim! your videos always bring me comfort and i've been a fan for years. thank you for being you!
Tim reminds us to not lose the joy we felt in our mind as a child, that we can forget about as grown ups.
I watched this guy as a child ❤
I aleyad watch these videos to fall asleep, and then I watch way too many! I don't know why I enjoy them so much, it must just be Tims calming voice.
Tim: "They blow and blow and blow!" *Magnetic Pinwheel refuses to spin* Tim: "My goodness they blow..."
Tim, I’m your biggest fan
The time this channel let me down: NEVER

Tim, this video blew me away!
This reminds me of the fan toy I had much fun playing with when I was a kid. it was a propeller with three wings that you were supposed to attach to the mouth of a blown balloon. and the wings had little air pipe in them so the air from the balloon was diverted to the tips of the wings and it made the whole thing spin fast and fly quite well. unfortunately as many good flying toys go, I played with it so much that it eventually got stuck somewhere high I couldn't reach. and sadly I had to say goodbye.
I remember having a toy as a kid that was a little plastic hoop with helicopter blades inside. It sat on a hand-held launchpad and you pulled a plastic zip cord to get it spinning. Once it got up to speed it would take off and fly quite high. It stands out as one of the cooler toys I had.
great camera work! and tim looks very good for his age!!
I would love to buy merchandise from this channel!!
Haha, i made the one at 4:07 in woodwork in school (we at least have that subject in the Swedish school) when i was little :D
Tim, you are the best.
Oh my gosh the music box fan is so cool
That opening is crazy good
AMAZING!!! 😯 I love it!😄✌️
I remember getting a Puddle Jumper once! It was a delight to play with! Wonderful Video as always, Tim!
Remember metal toys. Getting old.
Ngl I don’t think I can understand what Tim says half the time, but I still love his videos
Your channel is very interesting. Congratulations.
So many toys flew off the table this time around, lol.
Amazing!!
Awesome 🙌
Thankyou Tim
oh, so that’s where the nickname puddle-jumper came from!
"Oh it's come orf" xD
Sometimes I just listen to Tim's voice and I listen to the toys in the background

Happy B-day!✨🎉
Hey Tim, i request you to create a video telling about your life. All these years you have been making videos but you never gave an insight to your life or interact with your audience. I would highly appreciate if you do a video telling your own life to us or making a QnA video, how you started collecting toys, the idea of making KZread channel,...idk if it's ok to ask...of your personal life with family, idk etc etc and it can go on....i guess ofcourse everyone would like that!! And if your team don't see the comment, am gonna post it every video you upload. I really look forward to watch that one day. Every night before going to bed, one dose of your video is enough to make my mood happier that's it i am not gonna write more, i just want it one day.
This is my asmr I use to sleep
@adam savage would be all over the mini Strandbeest 🙂
Hope Tim managed to find all his little propellers.
Tim you ate amazing

Tim!!!!!
very good
Hi again Mr.Rodgers- I MEAN..
I guess you could say Tim is a fan of fans
Look out for those tin toys tim, they are painted with lead paint back in the days
These are all wonderful! I'm particularly taken by the walking thing at the end.. No doubt the (Dutch?) inventor had a serious real world application in mind for this.. Maybe some kind of transport system? Or is that bonkers? 🌟👍
I bet that toy will freak a cat out any day.
Sometimes I wish I could buy some of the toys Tim shows us
You might like "Dragon Flyz" a 1996 propeller toy that launched in the air! A childhood favorite of mine, discontinued due to some people not being very... "clever" and hurting themselves. But a very fun toy!
Distinctively remember the battery pocket fan there.
I remember the second toy😭
I wish I had all these toys😭
Cool
I bet the puddle jumpers flew to THE NILE
Don't show Tim Beyblades. He'll lose his mind. 😂
Hey Tim do you have a copy of MAIL ORDER MYSTERIES by Kirk Demarias???
it's funny 😄
I used to have that duck toy but my kids wrecked it.
wish i was in his country so i could buy the toys he has too bad im in the philippines
3:32 😂
Hey Tim. Where can i get the walking fan? are they still availible.
Isn't that the exact duck toy from that one episode of On the Spot?
That title tho
I'll take anything off for you Tim
title💀💀💀💀
You're the best reviewer on children's toys, without a doubt, but when will you start reviewing adult toys?
Torture devices for people with COPD and Asthma.
