I think a lot of people like him because it's just such a very clean show. Even as someone who loves to involve myself in politics, it's such a nice break to watch something so clean, proper, and uncontroversial. There's nothing negative and everything is described from a perspective of wonderment. It's just so different from the polarization we constantly see around the world and particularly on many, many KZread channels.

Big up to whoever did the subtitles. I'm only 29 and I'm starting to go deaf and I can't watch anything on KZread or on TV without having them on, otherwise I'll have no idea what is going on or being said unless I have the volume high. Its so upsetting when there's a video I want to watch but it doesn't have any subtitles, same with movies. I can't watch them at night if they don't have any because I don't want to upset my neighbours or my fiancee.

Cool video, I've been a fan of Tim's channel since I found it randomly, the fact he actually plays with his toys and doesn't just have them sit in some plastic container on a shelf and the sense of history as he talks about buying them 30+ years ago.

Wonderful! The world would be a poorer place without people like Tim and yourself. ⭐👍

I've never heard of this channel before but this was an extremely well edited video and I loved how you had stuff to show Tim too. Tim is such a character - one of a kind. Thank you for this little documentary - it was excellent.

I'm going to sub your channel simply because of this video. Tim's channel is one of (If not THE) best channels on Utube. If I have any complaint about Grand Illusions, it's that there aren't enough uploads. :)

How Tim pulls a random object and tells it's entire background story is amazing, plus the fact that he has thousands of them.

It's really cool to watch this now and recognize things he's showed off in videos. It's nice to see how and where he has them displayed when they aren't on that table for recording. Tim is a treasure.

The issue is - this is the kind of content I can't just make on demand - I need to contact many different people and organisations to see if I can get permission to make films. Tim is one of a kind, he shares so much cool stuff, Grand Illusions is a great channel to go to when everything else is burning, it's like a little grove of happiness and cool.

Thanks a lot! The oskar video will be out in the next couple of days, and we spent even more effort on the editing for that.

The camera work in this video is terrible. The focus is out for most of it and the whole thing is shaking around not really getting any decent shots of what is going on.

❤️ Tim! He's a simple man with an unique humor and brings so much joy to his viewers. It's nice to watch something without multiple motives. Tim makes these product creators/crafters proud. Those Japanese books are beautiful! And Tim did say in one bathroom/toilet paper novelty episode he kept that bike man in his bathroom. I didn't doubt that for a minute.

I believe in that video he also mentioned how the unicyclist cycled backwards, because he unrolls his toilet paper from the front rather than the back.
