I mean the damn near universal acclaim that Corpse Husband got for his deeeeeeeep vocals I think show a lot of people appreciate deeper voices. In female singers I think you have a point though. They think all women should basically be soprano and completely miss with Alto singers.

@@anthonyproffitt5341 I completely agree with you, but everyone is obsessed with high notes. It's all over the greater music community. A lot of the "top" female vocalists are said to be there, because of their high pitch, like everyone trips over the whistle register. Alto singers are awesome, being a bass singer I feel for them, because a lot of the time they are better than the sopranos in the group. (if it wasn't hyper obvious, I was a choir geek in high school)

You can see why Loudwire did an article about her. Violet deserves all the recognition she is getting.

This might be one of the very rare cases where a cover version surpasses the original. And Hozier is pretty genius. Very cool and fine nuances in the voice, lots of dramatic expression, very believable. Love it!

The best version is the "Hozier - Take Me To Church (Acoustic/ Amazing version on Norwegian Radio Show" version. It's even better than Morgon James. Morgan James might be the better singer, but I feel like that acoustic just hits different.

Most covers, no matter the subject matter will usely go for a pop or acoustic pop cover. This usely ends up watering down the messenge of the song as well as the artists unique sound. I think that metal lends itself very well to the heaver subject matter of this song. Honestly great choice for a cover pus the singer is super talented and expressive. All around an amazing take a a great song.

Feel like her voice is gettig richer every time.

Possibly one of your best vocal performances yet. This song really shows off your range. Phenomenal.

She sings this song deeper than her others, and the song starts out with less energy. But the song picks up energy as it goes and her choice to sing deeper pays off. At least, I think that's what's happening, I had the same impression.

That is the best cover of take me to church i have ever heard. And i love this song to. So yeah safe to say violet orlandi is a bomb singer. Absolute powerhouse.

I think radioactive is one of my favourites of hers. its so much better than the original by far and she makes it her own. Or if you don't mind a bit heavier stuff, she did an awesome cover with Leo Marocchioli called listen to your heart. she belts that song out to a metal cover of it. It's a wacky video but I think it's a great representation of who both of them are.
