The 5150/6505 is the greatest boost pedal platform the world has ever known. Right next to a Dual Rectifier of course. Great content dude. This shit keeps me going.

It definitely tightens up the tone and gives it more of a bite

Really digging the format of the pedal demos you've done: the quick cuts between off and on, working isolated sections into the track, and the knob twisting.

    1. Good job changing the layout of your videos to include the isolated guitar in the the initial playthrough instead of putting them at the end. Much more coherent. 2. I wanna produce/write riffs with you.

Awesome to see you getting some demo's out on this!! I love your style and in depth info which is always relevant. I've got the Key and Gate and am now waiting for the Reverb. Maybe I'll have to add this one to my order too!!

Thanks GJ ~ I’ve been wanting an EQ pedal ‘un-like’ the MXR cause even flat it affected my tone but it had wonderful variability. Most parametric EQs don’t have the range... how come? I have several ODs with 3 bands but the mid controls are still limited. Recently got a JCM with a 2x12 SC slant and am searching for ‘the right’ pedal to help release all its goodness \m/

The tones you are getting with this pedal are incredible! I'm really curious as to how it sounds in front of or in the loop of the Orange Rockerverb... did you try it with the Orange? I've been trying to find the perfect "boost" for my Rockerverb that would not only add a bit more saturation and make it tighter, but also boost the high mids and highs, so that it can cut better. I have a Boss GE7 that's pretty good, but I'm just wondering if this pedal, or some other kind of boost pedal would be better... do you have any recommendations for the best boost to push the high mids and highs on the Orange Rockerverb?

Hey Jon, great video! Which one do you think would clean up a dual rec better for heavy but not ultra over the top heavy tones, this or the Aesahaettr? Thanks!

Would love to see Jon’s take on it - the demos so far are rather in the stoner/doom realm than metal so it would showcase another side of the pedal! I’ll see if we can send one over later this year 😊

The pedal does a great job of shaping the tone. My only criticism is, it would be nice to have an led for each switch. I appreciate that it's a different colour, but a bit hard to see in the heat of the moment…. Sounds great though!

If that's your only point of criticism: not a problem at all to add a separate LED - if you actually buy one, shoot us an email before placing the order and we'll add the second LED :)

Same here. Jon said below that the boost is better to clean the signal. But I'm not sure what does the amber spyglass do better than the aesahaettr. Maybe the mids-eq switch is the point.

nice demo, but playing leads or anything single notes on higher strings is entirely missing from your reviews. the pedal seems promising, but without hearing something other than chugga chugga, it is hard to decide.
