It's funny how people can be so judgemental about who sings better, about what group is better...when the actual guys we're ALL crazy about..Take6..couldn't give a damn about whether they're the best or not. They don't...they're just happy doin' their thing, sharing the gift that they worked so hard at "perfect"-ing. God Bless em' all, & everybody whose been given a gift & is sharing that gift. Getting that good commits so much of one's time/effort, there's not much time to criticize.

2:39 ....I love when they sing "Like a clock whose hands are sweeping" Because Claude and Mark switch, Their parts cross and Mark is now singing the very top of the harmonies and Claude drops down to 3rd part from the top. They Never cease to amaze me even after me being an avid listener for over 20+ years since 1988 With their first CD

performed this in Atlanta last week and I was awed. When they had the Meet and Greet after the show I couldn't think of anything else to say to them except how awed I was at Kibble's arangement of this song. Amazing.

I have been a fan of Take 6 since 1987-1988 When they first came out and I have *YET* to find anyone that is their match. Trust me Ive looked. They have spoiled me when it comes to accapella music. Any time someone says to me They guys can harmonize awesome. I already know that T6 can just wash them all away. There are some groups that can come *close* "THE REAL GROUP" is a close second Love those guys! (love you too Mervyn) :)

I always prefer Take 6 performing their songs live. What they have done with this song is re-invent it and redirect it like they always do. They are my favourite gospel accapella group[

I can't wait to get the album tomorow. I thought feel good was a great album (which it was) but what they did here shows the evolution of their harmonies.

0:31 - "Where the Sun has never shown" I know singing in close knit harmonies, independence is so important.. Listen here how Claude and Mark sing only 1/2 step from each other.. Listen to that "clash" of the D and Eb. Amazing. Im going to post some videos soon Of my T6 influenced stuff very soon . Love you guys! Im a fan since their inception. 20+ years and going *God BLess*

Excellent demo of their vocal structuring and arrangements..I recently had a chance to chat with them @ Powell Symphony Hall in Saint Louis and what has been said is SO true..they are God-Fearing men and so down-to-earth humble but then SO talented...also purchased and now have an autographed copy of 'THE STANDARD' in my collection. =)

@mundymanor Absolutely! If your into Country music, Take 6 recorded a song on Randy Travis's CD called "HI LONESOME". The song was called "Have a little talk" Kenny Rogers 1989 CD "Something Inside so Strong" There is also Country/pop singer K.D. Lang who has a duet with Take Six "Our Day will come" and also on the Dick Tracy Soundtrack :)

I am very VERY critical of males who sing Falsetto. Im *very* hard to impress when people sing like that and Claude is the Exception! SO crisp, Clean, Beautiful. Smokey Robinsons Falssetto = I love Philip Bailey = I dont like(even thou he can sing High- it sounds too strained) Michael Macnonald = I love (I like my Falssetto too)

@mundymanor Oh no hun.Color has nothing to do with it.T6 has been around since'88 and chances are you might have heard them and not even known it because they've recorded with*so*many people and*so*many different styles. While they sing mostly Jazz/Gospel(if you dont normally listen to that) they have also sang R&B,Country,Rock.you name it.For an example: Don Henley(of the EAGLES) had solo CD back in 1989"The end of innocence" There was a song called "In a NY Minute".Guess who sang bkgrnd? ;)
