Amazing part from the hard-to-find All Access video released by Take 6 on VHS. Here are the complete parts of the "One at a time" segment performed by them about vocal harmonies on "Get away, Jordan"
Hope you'll enjoy it ! They're really amazing.

@@KajiVocals what's it's history? I was always thought it was the proper Italian musical term for head voice
The bass kills me every time. However, the middle voices have the hardest job.

It's not for nothing that they have 10 Grammy Awards! I've been a fan of theirs since the beginning when they came to Brazil in 1991 at the free jazz festival. I was 18 years old, since then I've always liked your music! and happy to know that they preach the gospel through their music. They influenced me a lot through their harmonies and lyrics, helping me to have the musical sensitivity I have today!

acapella masterclass!
The MEAT LOCKER, wow! That's what I'll be calling the thick harmonic understructures in my compositions and playing from now on lol.
I'm always in awe (literally my mouth hangs open)every time Take 6 sings. If you could hear a rainbow, Take 6 is what it would sound like. Claude McKnight's high notes..just wow.

Jazz in voices...crazy good...I heard them through out the yrs..this one of the best songs they have.
Shows you how important the baritone and bass is to this Harmony. The bottom voices gives this substance and depth
I love ❤️ these guys. This is what Judah was created for. To worship Yeshua not to sing worldly sinful music. Most High restore all of us. ☝🏾☝🏾 restore your people Amen 🙏🏾
I went to highschool with Alvin Chea and he was an amazing bass even back then

Actually David and Joey switched. Not in this song, on the old songs Joey sings the 3rd part which were Mervyn Warren's parts. Now Joey is part of the "meat locker". He sings the 4th part from the top, and David sings the 3rd part from the top.
The bass.....oh my !😍😍😍 lol great song

The bass singer always make me think of Damon Wayans ( he favors him to me). I can't remember what the name of the tape was now but this was part of the segment on there except they had individual small commentary with each singer after they did their part.
