Good morning Marion. Thanks for starting my day off with a great laugh and a wonderful recipe.
San Bei Ji is really good! It deserves to be known by more people! 😊
I've been making this for years since my Taiwanese sister-in-law introduced me to it. I add extra ginger slivers as I love how it caramelises. Add extra basil too! Yummmm!
I love the addition of the “what do we do first?” lol.
Thanks Marion for this amazing recipe, a true Taiwanese classic dish at its best! Simply sensational beyond every level indeed, yummy yummy!
Made this for lunch today, super yummy. Thanks for sharing the recipe Marion.

Made this 2 night ago used crushed thai chili's instead of whole but turned out wonderful. Served it over coconut rice.
Marion , I was in Coles today and so thrilled to see your iconic coconut sweet chilli sauce and 2 other sauces are available here in Australia now. I grabbed coconut sriracha sauce and had a taste when I got home and oh my goodness , I can eat the whole bottle of sauce itself. It s so tasty ❤️❤️❤️ looking forward to cook my dinner with this delish sauce
OMG whatever I am craving, you have it on your channel! I’m hooked on Marion’s kitchen 🥰

Ooo yum! I can see my bf and I making this as a late night snack on a Saturday night. Nothing like raiding your herb garden in your PJs at some odd hour when you get the hungries! Delicious! Thank You!

I made this tonight for dinner and it was delicious. Thank you for the recipe.
In my recipe the story talks about cup not meaning measurements but cup as in a contain. Thanks for sharing your take on this great dish.

you need to try it with Basil instead, that is what gives it the distinctive flavor compared to other chicken stews.
I was making homemade pizza this evening, and caught myself saying Now Lets Cooking. Mama Noi is an icon now haha
I made this today. It’s awesome! Will post on IG. Tagged you when I made Vietnamese Beef Stew. )

How many times can you use the oil after deep frying? I usually chuck it away, but wondering if it is a waste?
Why you prepare this dis without salt....is chicken stock will be the exact substitute of wine??Its fabulous...and yummy...
You saute in the sesame oil? Is it a different sesame oil than, say, japanese sesame oil?
Thank you for all of these amazing Asian recipes, Marion!! I am such a huge fan and don’t find myself cooking anything else but your food these days! I was wondering if you will do a video for Khao Man Gai someday?? I had this dish once upon a time and have been wanting to make it. But I would prefer to make it Marion’s way if possible. Hope to see that recipe soon!
Yummy look 👀 I like Chinese chicken 🐔
I love how you like things spicy 🌶
Yummy!
Oh my goodness. This was fabulous but I think I put a little too much dry chilli in (a bit much for my daughter 🥵 anyway). I also added a couple of spring onions. 10/10 ☑️☑️

I love your earrings!!

LOVE THOSE GORGEOUSSS EARRINGSSS! Soo BEAUTIFUL,,,,what a shame nobody commented on that !
Is the dark soy sauce Tamari? Or is Tamari just the brand? P.s. looooove every single video. I've watched them ALL and made probably 80% of your dishes lol ❤

Tamari is gluten free soy sauce. Ketchup manis is dark soy sauce if that helps. :)
We need a sticky counter for this channel 🤣
What kind of dried red chilies were used?
Finally, You have a lot of sense of humour. Good on ya for it😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love this chicken dinner but I like garlic but my mom and uncle hated it I just wanted to ask you can use onion powder and mix it up with garlic powder I I like to seeking it in so they don't know what in it am kinda hiding it lolz 😂

Are you using toasted sesame oil, or regular sesame oil, i. e. Untoasted variety

@@flaubertotRegular sesame oil I believe, based on the fact that toasted sesame oil is not recommended for cooking, and also by researching other recipes for the same dish.
Can you make ba Mee Kam bo
Can u show ur honey sauce for chicken
When i try to get some color on my chicken there is usually water that seeps out of the meat and steams it. Any special marion tips to prevent that? (Sometimes i wash the meat so that makes it worse)

I never understand why they say to use Italian basil if you can't get Thai. It's going to taste like crap if you do. Totally different flavor profiles.
Substitute of cooking wine for non-alcoholic option please??

Why didn't you add salt?
@HIBYROSE
5 жыл бұрын
Cus soya sauce by itself is quite salty. You don't need salt when using soya sauce.
@erdyantodwinugrohozheng
5 жыл бұрын
@@HIBYROSE Exactly. The soy sauce is naturally salty because of fermentation and the saltiness of it comes out. So, if you put salt, it will become too salty. That's my explanation......
You should tell quantities and temperatures because we don’t know what you know
Ginger IS SO EXPENSIVE IN AUSTRALIA FML
I tried your recipe, it is super salty, we could barely eat it
Vote Marion in 2020.
It's called 3 cup chicken because you need 3 cups of vodka to wash it down
You are very cute
It's not even Taiwanese, it's from Jiangxi :/
