Some people think they're immune from consequences. Then they are surprised when the consequences appear. I think it is ironic that Liu begged Buddha for relief, when Buddha taught the Eightfold Path plainly to tell people how to end their suffering and dissipate consequences. Liu could have been happy by his own actions instead of relying on prayer. I think even Amitabha Buddha doesn't take murderers to the Pure Land.

I’m only five min in and I already have all that I need Like AS SOON as I heard “he really hated the stray cats and dogs everywhere/in the area” I immediately paused to audibly go: “Oh no- I can already see where this is going and I don’t like it PLEASE don’t tell me he’s one of those Murder-y types, because they always start with killing animals- especially stray cats and dogs-“ …. then when I heard abt the crossbow and animal killing, I was like- “y’know what….maybe if a co-worker confessed that to me I might not so secretly shoot them with a crossbow too- 👀” -- Ballen: “He really obsessed over these stray cats and dogs and how much he considered them a nuisance and wanted them GONE from his area” “god- CANT imagine how he’d feel about homeless people 😒”

This story reminds me of that Edgar Allen Poe story where the character killed someone and then buried the body under his floorboard. Then kept hearing a heart beating before he finally told the police what happened. It was his heartbeat that drove him mad and to confess.

It is hilariously tragic that this man was apparently enough of a believer in the Buddha's teachings to beg for help, yet completely glossed over the first 5 precepts. Then later in Ghatva Sutta, it was explicitly warned against as well, word for word: Having killed what do you sleep in ease? Having killed what do you not grieve? Of the slaying of what one thing does Gotama approve? [The Buddha:] Having killed anger you sleep in ease. Having killed anger you do not grieve. The noble ones praise the slaying of anger - with its honeyed crest & poison root - for having killed it you do not grieve.

I know your pain because my 16yo cat Naboo went back to his ancestors on April 1st 4.15pm & I still can't lift his litter tray out of the bathroom. He was gentle brave & funny. Life will never be the same. I thought I'd feel better when I got his ashes home but I still talk to him everyday & cry. I'm old so that is my last pet. Don't want them to outlive us do we. There are still places that I can not vacuum up his fur. I have a paw print I'm getting it tattooed on my shoulder where he would put his paw every morning to wake me up. I don't have any tats so it will be my only ink. Thank god there are more animal lovers in the world than those who are cruel to them. And before the trolls turn out in force, no I don't eat meat at all ever.

So the dude killed her, beheaded her, and said he buried her whole body in the same place. Authorities check it out and can't find the head, pyscho dude says her spirit is using her head to haunt him and the authorities are like, "Yep, that sounds plausible and quite practical coming from you. It must be a ghost because no respectable crossbow wielding psychopath murderer could possibly be dishonest about his actions leading up to this discovery." Yep, got it.

The police had a body, a weapon, a motive, a suspect, and a confession. That would be enough to secure a conviction. The bit about the murderer claiming the victim's head was haunting him... yeah, I wouldn't argue the scientific validity of that to a judge. That information might be used as psychological evidence of the murderer's guilt haunting him, but an actual decapitated head missing from a grave haunting him? I would check the guy's fridge first.

When I was 5-years-old, immediately after my grandmother died (I attended her Open Casket funeral), I used to regularly get telephone calls from her, whenever I walked past the beige, landline telephone in our dining room. The year was 1970. On the last time she called, my whole family was in the dining room, and when she asked how I was doing, I told her I was doing fine, and that everyone in the family was present, and also doing fine. The next time the phone rang (as I walked past), when I picked-up the receiver I heard, through the ear piece, a musical aria, as if it were sung by angels.

Why is that? Because a mentally unwell murderer told a fanciful story and one officer claimed to have felt a push? That's some very shaky evidence. Well, depends on religion. I cannot recall the specific one, but in it there is the belief that humans do not become ghosts. Nevertheless, if a person dies with a deep grudge, it can cause an evil, vengeful spirit to remain. So, with that concept, if you are being haunted by a spirit, it is automatically "evil".

I just want to say R.I.P to this young girl who died so savagely. I find it sad that ppl are so excited to hear a story that every comment is about a cool story and not about the fact a sweet innocent young lady lost her life so horrifically and her poor parents can't even bury her as a whole because this freak won't tell them where her head is. I love Mr Ballen too and his story telling abilities but the lack of sensitivity leaves me shocked at everyone. Her family may be reading these comments because someone has finally told her story and all they are seeing is praise to the story teller. Come on ppl have a little heart here the least you could do is acknowledge the fact someone lost their life for no reason. I just needed to say that. Thank you John for telling her story and maybe warning ppl that staying with cab drivers in these places is not such a good idea.

? Are you seriously complaining about people not saying what happened was terrible and instead he did a good job talking about it? You do realize that’s what this channel about right? People feel bad for what happened to the girl doesn’t mean they have to let the world know their feelings every single time they hear a story like this, I’m sorry but your not special because you call those out for not being a “empathetic” as you, no one is downplaying what happened to her at all.

There are 4 oddities about ghosts, and the oddities have to do with... • clocks • calendars • free labor ...and... • preoccupation with human perceptions. □ When the spirit was a living human, then, like most humans, they probably spent their entire life having a hard time keeping track of what time it is, and what day it is. But when a person dies, and exhibits a ghost, then, somehow, their ghost-form _always_ knows precisely what time it is (even though they have to choose a Time Zone as their base of operations) and what day it is. For example, you will often hear about ghosts that only "haunt" on an annual day, and at a particular time. Apparently, when a person dies, and turns into a ghost, their ghost is automatically issued a clock/calendar watch that never needs winding. □ When the spirit was a living human, then, like most humans, they were probably a bit lazy. But when a human dies, and exhibits a ghost form, then, for the next 400 years, the ghost constantly performs hauntings, and does so FOR FREE. 400 years is a lot of unpaid haunting labor! Also, it probably amounts to MORE WORK than anyone ever got out of them while they were still alive. □ As you may have often heard, ghosts sometimes perform attacks upon living humans. Such attacks usually take the form of... □ •bites □ •scratches □ •bruises ...and... □ •hard shoves. But WHY?? Think about it. As a ghost, a ghost is identically a supernatural entity. It would seem more fitting for a supernatural entity to perform SUPER attacks. For example, why do ghosts never spontaneously generate LASER BEAMS? Now _that_ would be a Super Attack, befitting a Supernatural Entity! Instead, ghosts always go for old, standard methods of attack, characteristic of what a Human might choose.

@@Julez60 Please don't get me wrong. I have witnessed lots of paranormal activity. I merely question WHY a supernatural entity (which includes demons, as well as ghosts) always exhibits perceptions and attitudes that seem just like those of a mortal human. Afterall, a supernatural entity is multidimensional. It seems oddly self-limiting for a multidimensional entity to exclusively dwell upon human perceptions and human attitudes.

Ok just for the kicks of joining such an interesting topic here's my thoughts.. Firstly I think if there is an entity or ghost it is stuck somehow between the here & there where it should be. Secondly I don't think there is time as such maybe just a certain light of when they died that they can come through. So if someone died at 11am on a road maybe that is the time of day that they can be seen or herd because that is when the light is right for them to be more present. Thirdly if they are able to harm us in any way it would have to be in our dimension so scratches bruises etc would make sense as they have no physical presence & could only manifest wounds that are in our living dimension. You do make some great points though & it got me thinking... Love 'n' Light :)
