I have a pair of waterproof socks, Just get to the other side of the river and empty the boots and start walking, Even walking all day with soaking boats your feet are nice and dry, They are bloody expensive £70 But worth every penny up hear in Scotland in October, I only use them in the rainy season just before the snow comes which limits the ware on them for 4-6 weeks out of the year, Had them for 6 years now and are still going strong, They are also breathable just like a normal sock,, Sounds like Santa needs to put a pair in the SANTA stocking for next year :)

@@joshjameskiwibushman Seal Skinz winter socks and they have a thermal layer in them too, The new dry surf gloves would also keep your hands dry and warm, No more frozen chicken fingers, Dexshell socks is another with Kilm Covert, You should be able to find it if you use google search engine bud, Happy hunting :)

Awesome gear shed need one of those. Those gortex socks were one of the best bits of kit I got from the army. Nothing worse than putting on a pair of wet boots on a cold morning

There are those ninja ice gloves they sell at the safety shop, rubberized, not too bulky but warm as ever. Think theyre used for freezing works. Pretty cheap if you buy them on the conpany staff account

yeah merino is good for lowland and bush, but monkey scrub and alpine plants tear it to shreds, the stoney creek polypro handles the jandle where regular polypro and merino fail. Cheer

Josh James Kiwi Bushman Adventure VLOGS you might find a pair over Christchurch ways close to burnham mil camp if theirs any surplus stores close to the camp, or even Wellington. All the good gears tend to be close to military camps unlike other places that tend to ship their stuff in and generally that imported stuff is rubbish or out of date 1970s hippy shit
