IN LOVE WITH THIS SONG

This probably should’ve been the title track. It gives me similar vibes to “Love” from 2017. Which was actually supposed to be the title track but Taemin asked for it to be changed. Here I feel the opposite should’ve happened. While I find “Guilty” to be a decent song, something about this one connects with me on a deeper level. Just something every boy grows up with I guess, maybe that’s it, lol.

I think you're completely going off the point of the song. Given the context, it seems like it's helpless and he knows that the answer is "she loves me not". He's just clinging on it although it's clear as water that it's not going to happen.
