I have the Neo 2T, why should I get this? It seems nothing significantly improved.

The fact that you havent adressed the issues of the prior gens from the flywheel and added no wifi conection into it is unbelievable how on earth i am paying 2k for a trainer have to buy a tool for it from the start to fix the trainer and buy a wifi adapter for another 150 bucks... garmin fix this

Not GPLama tested? I'll pass. And my experience with your ongoing support for currently sold products does not help either. The lastest firmware for the Flux S is about 3.5 years old, you don't even try to get the known problems fixed. I will not fall in your trap ever again.

I love Garmin, dearly, but this is such a miss it's insane. Disappointed too because I was waiting for the Neo 3, was 100 % gonna buy one, and this release is so feature-poor that I wouldn't even consider it. Maybe a used Neo 2T, but hard to justify. I guess I'll wait for the next Wahoo.

gplama is a good reviewer, but it’s ironic that his latest review of this smart bike was so negative (compared to his review of the prior version) coincides with his torrid complaint that Garmin didn’t send him an advance release model for review. Not sure why Garmin didn’t wouldn’t do so, but there seemed to be some acting in his “frustration” during his Neo Plus testing.

Interestingly enough I never completed my third and final 'overview' review of the previous revision of the Neo Bike (V1) for reasons I mentioned in my review of the Neo Bike Plus. I was waiting on promised updates to the hardware that never arrived. The Neo Bike Plus as delivered for review was anything but ready for review. No acting required. Look at the data I presented from the test rides. And jumping forward a month or two - look at the firmware update they released to address a number of the issues I'd encountered (ERG and sprints). My take might have been abrasive for Garmin product managers, but it was the honest truth of my experience. If I didn't present my actual experience with the product, I'd be lying. So it's ironic to read you calling me out for 'acting', when in fact anything else would have been exactly that.

@@gplama Fair enough, but it was quite emotional and the issue with Garmin (to me) suggested why. DC Rainmaker isn’t quite as animated in his reviews, just style I guess. Still, you’re a very good reviewer, I just thought that one was ironic. That said, Garmin should treat someone with your following (an influencer) much better!

How crazy is it that you still have to buy an internet adapter for something that cost that much they couldn't include it inside the machine.....SMH....money grab........ We can put men into space , but we couldn't put the internet module inside the neo.

SIMULATED GRADIENT IS FALSE ADVERTISING. THERE IS NO FEATURE TO RAISE OR LOWER THE FRONT WHEEL TO SIMULATE GRADIENTS.
