Giving Ranger the Ji'ygla's set then giving them lobber and making them dark alligned with bow affinity necklace turns them into best lobber in the game. You can do over 3250 total damage to a group of five with a shot (over 650 a piece) without even getting a physical up card. That just helps tear through enemy lines and the set bonus lets him clean up enemies well with regular ranged attacks. Nobody in my parties are dishing out near as much raw damage without cards as Vyce.

Well, canonically, Vyce mustered his own rebellion, so it does makes sense that he would be good at hard and fast fighting and recruiting.

Paring Ranger with a white knight and having haste cast on him will help the situation
