Griffin had no right to land this subplot the way he did, but man am I glad he did.

“Oh, you don’t need to roll for that, son.” That sealed it. That Line more than anything made me love that moment of this entire story arc. Just the ultimate “screw the dice. This is GOING to happen” moment. Over tacos. And it’s brilliant.

clint's reactions to some of these moments make it. Like how he says 'attaboy' when Justin realises that Taako needs to break the Umbra Staff, or laughing at the final conclusion of the Taco saga

i love how all of them were so dedicated to helping the taco quest in the beginning

ToxicXNature its such a bummer that people complained that the taako taco subplot was disrespectful to the mexicans who invented it

so, cause it was actually a guard, that wasn't capenport, it was just some other npc, dav just took over the artifacts later in the campaign

I was hoping when Taako completed the Taco Prophecy that the rest of the finale was just the gang cooking up taco after taco and feeding the Hunger like in the first episode of Spongebob

Merle approaches the storm. His heart pounds in his chest, but his gaze remains resolute and firm as he stares directly into the millions of glowing white eyes set into the dark sky above him. Slowly, tendrils of blackness weave together, forming a shape before him: a tall, well-dressed man, gray hair trimmed as immaculately as always, suit clean and freshly ironed. Just like Merle remembers. And yet so, so _not._ John had never been a particularly warm man, but he had been friendly, in his own strangely charming way. He'd carried himself with a casual, defeated confidence - like his smile had gone through the wash just a few too many times, leaving it worn and faded but no less soft and comforting. This John was cold, stern, standing tall and strong (Merle's John had always had awful posture). He doesn't speak; he just watches, silently, waiting. And in this, in some small way, Merle sees his John. The slight tilt of the head, the light of curiosity in his dark eyes - taken together, it reminds Merle of when they would play chess. John would pause, deliberate, eyes flickering over the smooth pieces before delicately, gracefully, he'd pick one up and move it, not unlike a dancer gently playing out the actions of an act he'd done a thousand times... always waiting, always trying to think one step ahead, one move ahead, one planar system ahead... that's the man Merle knows. That's what gives him the strength and the courage to step closer, looking up to stare down The Hunger. He takes a breath... and reaches into his pocket. Slowly, deliberately, never breaking eye contact, he withdraws a small, vaguely cylinder-shaped object, wrapped in smooth shiny brown plastic. "John..." Merle reaches out and places the Snickers bar into his old friend's hand. "You're not you when you're hungry."

The world was ending this was literally the only thing going through my head. "Did he figure out tacos yet?! The world is ending! What about the tacos?!"

When Joaquin said "Everything's going to be ok, I have magic powers" I literally shouted fuck yes and pumped my fist in the air. It got me fucking hyped

Leave it to the Adventure Zone to make me tear up over a goddamn Taco Quest

The callback to Taako saying "I've got magic powers" is just perfect.

"I'm gonna be so deep in game that your name's not even going to be ridiculous" griffin isn't wrong,,,

Shame that the interlude with Istus wasn't included, where the literally Goddess of time and fate and weaver of the universal tapestry says "damn didn't know that shit was gonna happen lmao" and then let's destiny rip like a fucking beyblade

The prophecy of 2 cook's,one from a universe of magic dragons and shit tons of dungeons,and another of a modern age but still with magic,once the wizard cook's from both universes find eachother(not like love eachother this is taako were talking about),after a battle with the hunger time slows down as soon as they get to the kitchen and make 2 universal tacos and unlock ultimate power P.S. what episode is thus from?
