I was unfortunately a little late to the TAZ party, and didn't finish balance until about a week ago. And then I found this. I am currently sobbing.

Every time I see the scene with Davenport and Merle, I get so upset, because being forgotten is a very real fear.

I don't know why I never realized it before but the line "You'll never settle any of your scores" lined up with Magnus losing his memories about Governor Kalen.... poetic, I teared up from that alone not to mention the rest of the video

The chorus fits Lucretia so well and I love it oml

that stolen century montage made me cry 💜 you have a really good eye for highlighting scenes and character design!!

really beautiful and amazing, i love the little "loading screens". the song is a perfect fit!

I finally finished my listen to Balance (i got all the way through the Stolen Century, then started back again at episode 1 to delay having to end the story) and I saved this video to watch once I was done. I'm so glad I did, this is wonderful and helps sooth all of the emotions

Managing to top that thumbnail would be a feat only accomplished by the greatest of craftsmen. This video did it.

This is so lovely in so many ways! I love your character designs, and I love the text turning into cursive during the "forgetting", really making it seem like it was something Lucretia wrote down in one of her journals or something like that. In summary, it's all very good and made me tear up a bit

oh man you didnt have to do me like that. i was just enjoying some nice scenes and by the end i was crying!!! the lyrics lined up so well with lucretia taking the gang’s memories... chilling! beautifully done, so clean and i love the grey sepia!

o ohh when at the end there was lucretia with the final verses and i finally realized that the song might be very well just... be sung by her??? tears were shed. 10/10

this is the first time I realised that the Beauro of Balance's symbol is two runic symbols for "b", but on their side with one flipped around. Griffin really did think of everything when making the Adventure Zone.

I will now and always choke up when it shows the picture of Carey crying with Killian. That is single handedly the saddest moment in the whole podcast for me... Gets me in every animation that I watch.

It's been so long and yet I'm in tears again. This podcast still hits and damn does your amazing animatic also hit hard.

I love that this is ultimately a greco-roman style "what bullshit are the gods up to now" type story of failures, flaws, and floundering... But it's the failures that let us see the depth and richness of people's hearts.

I haven’t cried this hard since the TAZ finale itself. The way you capture every moment, the art, the transition from the Bureau to the Birds with the black screens, the stolen century montage, all of it is so incredibly amazing. Thank you for this masterpiece of art

This animatic got me into Mumford and Sons and then by extension had a big influence on the DnD homebrew I'm making. Thank you!!

IM EMO HHHHH ;; this is literally one of the most beautiful taz animatics ive ever SEEN?? like it feels like a story slowly being unraveled with the lyrics being a cryptic poetic narration, nd the expert perspectives n how we sort of familiarize ourselves with the thb lives which makes their evolution so much more impactful Dx!!! all the little linear details of the story like sloane n hurley holding eachother in an embrace, angus, june and the cup, magnus with the picture of the red robe, fisher, wonderland just--- its so PERFECT!! ; A ; it makes the ones with dialogue attached so much more impactful especially in terms of composition?? LIKE, with davenports "Haven't we *earned* a little *WRATH*?" and "I'm.. I'M *DAVENPORT*!" and "Count the shells!" it just hits differently n theres like a beautiful dichotomy of all of these memories, good and bad, melded together ; m ; also the minimalist look makes the frames with shading have more emphasis like when taako is pointing his umbrella at lucretia,, and the lines and the intricate details for the clothing wrinkles and the aged lines on lucretias face?? the volume in hair???? ur literally God NEVER EVER doubt that this is beautiful!!!!!! im gonna be crying again hhhhHHVDUELUHBNWJDJW qmq... ps. i figured out it was from lucretias eyes thru comments and??
