Sir people may call you pesimist but in my opinion you give a reality sync to such people ... People come to capital market expecting 30% returns from direct stocks and 20% returns from equity mutual funds .... For them your speech may sound pesimistic ...for rational persons who have reasonable expectation from capital market your video makes lot of sense

Is Sov Gold option with 8 year lock-in period, is the reward with 2.5℅ of SB interest will be really recommended? Since with 8 years most long term investments will be at least ok with rewards, partial withdrawal of PPF... what's the additional factor to consider for SOV gold bonds(I've girl child, thinking of for Gold as well)? Is this can be purchased from National banks??

Sov gold bond = digital gold

Great post Pattu. As I have about 15 years for gold accumulation, Can I invest in a balanced fund and use the proceeds to buy gold.

That is an option but it is riskier than buying gold bonds

Hello Sir, Thanks for the wonderful post, plz correct me if my understanding is correct When you invest in SGB after 8 year of maturity, do we redeem it directly from the govt or do we need to find buyers after 8 years or it will auto redeemed and the money will credited to our Saving account please clarify and please continue posting in tamil its quite refreshing and very easy to understand thanks

Money will be credited to your bank account, if you had bought using bank account. if you are buying sgb better to buy staggered if your plan is to convert to ornament when you get the money after 8 years.
