I understand the criticisms of this box made in the comments. Nevertheless, I'm going to give this box a thumbs-up. My expectations were non-existent, as this was my first Android box. Also, my circumstances were such that I was using a self-built AMD PC as an HDMI input into my telly. Unfortunately, one of the sound interfaces broke. I then had to rewire my other sound interface in a more complicated way. Gave-up and bought this box and found it solved all my problems and more. The box has exceeded my expectations so far. Not bad for 26 quid.

Hi, i have some trouble with KDPlayer. As soon as i set it up and want to watch a video it exits out of KD and goes directly to the homescreen. Was talking to the man i ordered but he comes with suff like "check hdmi, check power, test av cable,..." I can clearly see that there is something wrong when trying to start video with KDPlayer. KZread for example works fine. Any ideas what i could do ?

Uninstall KD player and install the latest version on the Play Store or side load a nightly build from the Kodi website

I think you have it the other way around. HDMI CEC allows the TV box and its remote to control your TV's volume and power. I could be mistaken but I seen it work only one way. If you mainly use IPTV you should look into an OTT box that has IPTV features. If not can look at Ugoos, Beelink, A95X, and T95X as some good brands. To pinpoint a box for you will be difficulty based on me not knowing you budget and TV box needs. If you give me all those details I can recommend one.

My box froze up on me on my 3rd power up. Seems the reset button wasn't connected as it did not do anything when pressed. Hopefully the replacement will be better.

I want to assume something but that might be making a wrong assumption. How could a TV box with the Mali G31, have Open GL ES 2.0 and no USB 3.0 port, and it the only TV box I have ever reviewed that has the RAM type listed next to it. It has Google pixel as the manufacturer, and the same as the model? Smells like some information editing is taking place in this box, but I can't know for sure, as I am not verse or qualified in firmware development.

Thank you for this video! But can you find a way to connect a camera to this TV Box, to allow us use in Zoom or Whatsapp calls during this quarantine? Would be so great!

I will try. I can get it working with other apps designed to make USB webcams work, but not with apps like Skype and Whatsapp.

Sometimes making these videos can be painful, but in my line of work I must complete the video even if the seller or manufacturer don't agree with my results. I am not going to change my methods or hide information from my viewers and subscribers who depend on my videos and made me who I am today.

It's an app called CPU Temp - play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yanyan.cputemppure In the settings area turn on the overlay option, and in the settings area open apps/special permissions/Display over other apps/. Turn this feature on manually or it will not display to the to of the screen. Check the other special permissions and see if there are other permissions for the app that need enabling manually.

How to change the screen position on this device, i can't see the upper part of my screeen...

When you ran your speed test your scores were low. Was that on WiFi? Because I have 100 mbps and I have no problem reaching around 90 mbps. I use a CAT.6 Ethernet cable.

@@tvboxstop my advice to anyone who is using an android box should hardwire it for the best connection. I have one in my living room that is hardwired to my router modem . The one in my bedroom is hardwired to my repeater. And I use CAT.6 Ethernet cable.

Hey fella, does Kodi display in 1080p or 720p for you? I've got this box but the Kodi UI seems to be limited to 720p.

Try installing the latest Kodi 19 also check the resolution of the box itself, I am not sure if Kodi limits it's results based on the resolution of the box.

@@tvboxstop Thanks, looks like the box is limited to 720p, even though the HDMI settings are set to 1080p, hence why KODI shows the same. Pretty crappy for a 2020 box if you ask me, even my 2 yo T95zplus is native 1080p!

Did you find a box with 1080p native with Kodi. I ordered the Q plus and that is 720p in Kodi. My old T95z Plus is 1080p in kodi

KZread does not seem to think so. Just two days ago I received a community warning strike from KZread and one of my videos was removed because I mentioned that XUMU was a great alternative service for watching live streams. KZread said in the warning that I was promoting services to viewers that was meant to be paid for. It's really difficult to be a KZread video creator in the area of streaming devices. You cannot mentioned to viewers or even point them using links in the description to any service that they deem provides copyrighted content.

At your 3 minutes mark the cursor automatically appears. I didn't purchase the keyboard, but the remote that came with it doesn't work. Yes, I put in brand new alkaline batteries. I wrote to the seller and he said read the manual and pair the device. I did read the manual (all 4 pages of it and nowhere in there does it say to pair. So how did you get a cursor?

You should try using an Air-Mouse, if you don't have one you use a regular wireless or wired PC mouse. It makes navigating and selecting things on the screen much easier, one cannot be done with the stock remote.

I also tried to do a hard reset and it wouldn't let me. I held the button for 5 minutes and it didn't work. Any advice on how to do a hard reset would be greatly appreciated

Man the Allwinner models are problems. some boxes just have the format options. the more settings are sometimes unaccessible.

How do I enable onscreen keyboard? The reason I’m asking is, when I try to connect to wifi, I can type in the password, but when I press enter or ok, nothing happens and there is no “connect” button on the screen. I can’t connect to wifi due to this. Please help! Thanks.

Mi Box S because Netflix In HD 4K, and no overheating. The T95 has better IO ports and performance, but the cons are too much such as it has no Bluetooth.

The APK version of Netflix will work but not the official version because this box is not certified

An article came out earlier this month saying that this box may have come with malware pre-installed. Do a search for the article.

Isso tem que ser um defeito com a caixa são. Existe a porta LAN que deve funcionar plug-and-play. No entanto, pela minha experiência, tenho visto algumas portas ethernet LAN apresentarem problemas com alguns clipes de cabos ethernet. Portanto, tentar outro cabo pode resolver o problema.

I don't see why it shouldn't it's a simple WiFi signal. This box has single band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only 7:36. Maybe you are thethering 5G that it cannot see.

That video on my part requires a lot of research and testing to prove claims. It's not only Android boxes that are not certified, but SBC boards, and gaming consoles also. Honestly some of the tech sites that perform these malware testing on Android boxes use methods unknown to me, and it's not my area of expertise. This channel is basically a product review/promotional review channel. Not that I'm not concerned or unaware about the topic you are raising but I stick more to the reviews.

My friend I spent the last 5 hours trying everything in the book. I completed 2 firmware updates that was not easy to do. I installed the Snowball navigation bar, scanned with mobile devices. Research the hardware and I came up with the fact that they lied. This box does not have Bluetooth like I said here 18:20 I just wanted to be absolutely sure.

How could they lie and make it without Bluetooth which is highly important wireless times we are living in... even aida64 shows Bluetooth, but aida also shows amoled 720p which is funny for this device... I also spent hours searching for Bluetooth and feeling dummy thinking I was missing something

Just bought the T95 having trouble connecting to important repos, all good internet wise, Ethernet connection need a f4mtester and sports devil, unless you have another way of getting NHL

It's easier using an air-mouse. Long press on the text with the the mouse, drag to select text, copy and paste options will appear.

I bought T95 Android TV box (64GB ROM - 4GB RAM). My question is how can I connect it to the WIFI? as I have a network WIFI's user name and password and I search the option where I can put the user name of my network but the device only gives the password option. I put the password under the WIFI connection, it was showed SAVED but not connected. I consult the manual it says that put user name and password on WLAN portable WIFI Hotspot option but this option is not available in the network/WIFI menu.

I wish I had the answer to your problem but I don't. Connecting to Wi-Fi on any TV box straight forward, and if it's not then there is something wrong with the box and you should return it.

Yes someone asked me that last week and I should have known better than to waste my time trying. When in my video at the pros and cons section it says that this box does not have Bluetooth. They misprinted or lied. see here 18:20

It depends on the max resolution of your TV. If your TV is 1080p you will see 1080p option in the settings area. You need a 4K or 8K TV to view higher resolutions.

`Yes I believe it will. I don't have IPvanish but I use NordVPN and it works.

I literally just hooked this box up and I have major Audio problems. I currently own 2 other Android Media Players and am very familiar with settings and Kodi. When I attempt to play a movie with DD, DTS, ATMOS, etc, I get no sound and or hissing. I have the settings on "Enable Pass through". It defaults to "Android Audio track".Can anyone please help me????

Sounds like it's not going to play. Have you tried the VLC player with passthrough enabled under audio? It's a better player of digital audio than Kodi.

My box is running at 70C temperature. Is this ok or should I use a fan to cool it down?

Hi those boxes are totally different boxes. The Mi box S is Android TV OS not rooted to and could play Netflix in HD 4K. However it has one USB port and the specs are mid-range. The H616 rooted on Full mobile version, has better hardware performance but has overheating issues which can affect life-span of the box.

Por lo que me ha descrito, parece que hay un problema definitivo con el firmware. También puede haber un problema con la protección de Google Play que puede bloquear y eliminar aplicaciones que consideran ilegales pero que aún se instalan en su sistema operativo. He visto que Google Play protege, elimina o desinstala aplicaciones que consideran dañinas. No estoy diciendo que este sea el problema, pero existe una gran posibilidad de que hayan aumentado el escaneo y la detección de APK de terceros en los últimos meses. Mi recomendación sería comprar una nueva TV Box a lo largo de la línea Amlogic S905X3 o la nueva línea S905X4.

The best TV box in the world is the Nvidia Shield, but that is official Google certified Android TV OS non rooted. If you are looking for Full Android with root access and unique features and you can afford it the Ugoos AM6 Plus is the second best.

That's easy. Install FX File Explorer play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nextapp.fx&hl=en&gl=US skip the 7 day trial during install. Once installed open Main storage browse to either downloads or DCIM folder where you stored the file. Long press for copy option to popup, and copy. Then browse to media card in the main menu to access the SD card. Select the copied option in the top right and select paste.

@@tvboxstop I bricked my tanix TX6S, i wanted to activate the NavBar editing the build.prop. But not worked and now i got bootloop and cannot boot to system any more. I would ask you, if you could make a Backup file with your Stock recovery. So perhaps I can restore with this file my Box, there is no Firmware Image on Tanix HP. Would be nice from you, thanks a lot.

You may have to flash the firmware. Download firmware and Phoenix Suite here - mega.nz/folder/D75jjRAJ#CZKWQ5lTKbCT4ewTbbZsyQ 1 Install PhoenixSuit v1.0.6. Other versions will not work. 2 Before installing the new firmware go to settings, open About, tap on the Build number many times until you activate Developer Mode. 3 Open Developer Options and enable USB Debugging (important). 4 Connect one end of a male to male USB cable to the USB 2.0 port on the box alone, no power adapter is required for this process. 5 Using a toothpick or a paper-clip press and hold the reset button located inside the AV. Once the reset button is pressed, then plug the other end into your PC. 6 You should here the ding-dong sound the PC makes when you plug in a USB device, if you don’t hear that sound then try again until you hear it. It is an indication that the box is connected to the PC, you will not see any drives connected in the My Computer settings, but the PheonixSuit program will indicate that the box is connected. 7 Once connected, on the program click firmware and browse to the folder where you downloaded the new firmware img file and select it. 8 once it is loaded, proceed to the flashing process, once completed remove the box and connect it to the TV and allow the box to reboot. 9 The reboot process will hang for a while on the boot screen as the firmware is being upgraded, and then it will load the new firmware. That's a tricky question. The T95 has better hardware performance, but the Mi Box s is Google certified for Netflix in HD/4K, but it has older hardware with slower performance with 1 USB 2.0 port and no LAN port plus Android 8.1 OS. You have to ask yourself what you want from the box, because with both models you can't have it both ways. I recommend an Amlogic S905X3 model for regular Kodi/APK streaming. Don't be trapped by the "Android 10" operating system. There is no difference in features or performance when installed on a TV box, so there is nothing to gain. Android 9 is still very OK.

Now that it is Android 10 Does this allow Grayscale mode ? - This can be useful in reducing the cartoon addiction of my kid. A response is appreciated.

I have received reports about this Allwinner model freezing on the boot screen and it appears that all attempts to load into recovery or reset is not working. So am not sure there is a solution other than the trash.
