I really enjoy this video format, im also the type of person who enjoys watching the in goggle recording with the osd more than some good actioncam shots, but this is great, its like a podcast and nice scenery in one.

I love this model, especially with the speedy bee F405 wing flight controller and the Dji 03 air unit ! The auto stabilization in the FC works beautifully along with DJI's (rock steady) stabilization ! I can fly in 20 mph winds and the recorded footage looks like it's a calm day and zero wind ! The stuff they are selling for FPV from 10 years ago is night and day , no comparison.

I too made the switch to ELRS and never looked back after flying crossfire for over 6 years. I believe most of the availability issues with TBS is due to the war in Ukraine.

Such a scenic flight from an amazing vantage point. Love the idea of combining exploring and flying from new locations. Look forward to seeing more of you exploration adventures. As a test, you could try reprocessing an older video with the latest gyroflow software. Issue has to be either with raw stabilization data from the camera, or how gyroflow is processing.

I was hoping to fly nice and low over the water, but as I started descending towards it I lost signal so had to abort lol

Yeah I know they are available atm, but they seem to frequently go out of stock with big waiting periods in between. I'm also keen to try the EIS

Literally about a 2 minute walk. You can park the car about 100m away. Only downside is there's only enough room to park 1 car lol

I've always had the shuddering/stuttering problem with walksnail and gyroflow. When you zoom in on the gyroflow graphs I can see this constant wobble which looks like interference. I've seen it from a short video recorded while the plane is sitting on the bench, so I'm kinda convinced it's either internal to the camera, or maybe interference from radio/gps components showing up in the gyro output.

I did a long flight With the Hawkeye Thumb 4K about two weeks ago and I'm having such a dreadful time trying to stabalise the video in Gyroflow - latest version too. Keeps either going out of sync (it seems) but even when showing nice green sync flags on the timeline I'm gett wobbles that were not in the raw video and vibrations at the edges. Very simuliar to what you are having here.

That's interesting to know. So maybe it is the Gyroflow software that's the problem then. I'll try rolling back to a earlier version later if I can and see if things get better

Amazing flight and commentary! Beautiful hike. I get my HD Pro loose gyro sync on long videos in gyroflow. I remedied that by rendering, lets say 12min flight video in 4x 3min parts. Also closely check gyroflow sync markers after you load a whole video. When sync is lost, gyroflow stabilizes it at wrong, desynced location, like you are showing and the wobble increases. Shuttering is also caused by gyroflow in my case. I think airplanes are too wobbly by nature and the gyroflow has to work so hard and move the picture around very much, that you get shuttering. On quadcopters, where wobble is minimal, there is no problem with shuttering. I have tried countless cams with gyroflow and other forms of stabilization, and all of them fail on planes, except ... gopro. Even Insta360go2 fails in delivering smooth video. I.e. hawkeye thumb or runcam thumb pro, all look great on stable quads, but when it comes to our small and wobbly planes, the gyroflow struggles to even out the movements. Maybe a >1,6meter plane would help.

I agree planes wobble much more than quads, and that no doubt means gyroflow has to work harder. But the thing is though, I used to get good results from gyroflow when stabilising footage from my planes. That's what I find puzzling

Hi, great video as usual. I'm currently hesitating whether to go digital with walksnail or stay a little longer in analog. I have to buy googles anyway because my Quanum Cyclops box is not comfortable and very heavy and I am stuck between these two choices... Invest almost 300 euros in EV300D googles and continue to be able to use all my analog stuff or start from scratch for the double price with the Google X and digital but without being able to use them in analog unfortunately. Complicated choice, if the Google X did not overheat and correctly managed the analog VRXs the question would not arise. Fly safe!

After doing analog FPV for years, I saw the avatar x goggles and decided to go ahead and jump into digital. So far I'm really enjoying it and everything was simple but if you have time or maybe even someone else for a couple of questions? My DVR video looks nowhere near as good as yours. Do you mind sharing your settings? I'm using the walk snail HD V2 dual antenna kit. But I don't know whether to use 720 or 1080, what bit rate to use and what frame rate to use for best results. The other question is on the actual goggles menu, under recording. You have something like 5 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds and keep, what does keep mean. Record to infinity? If you don't answer questions, no problem, I understand. I always enjoy your videos as well as the commentary. I hope someone comes out with some good antennas for the goggles x soon. I should mention that gyro flow has been working well for me still with the exception of a little stutter every few seconds. It's as if someone had bumped the plane while it was in flight or maybe like a few frames were cut out. Good day from Montana

In what way is yourDVR footage not good? My settings are 1080p, 25mBs, standard frame rate. As for the goggles menu question, the 'keep' setting means maximum recording time. Basically the file doesn't get broken up into multiple smaller files

@@gizfpv hey thanks! I did a flight today and everything was much better, after I updated my firmware and then hit reset. I didn't realize that everything went back to 720p. Also, that flight was on a cloudy day and today it was sunny and that improved things tremendously. I think I was overly worried about nothing. Thanks for the response. Keep up the great videos

What motor and prop do you use? Looks like a good combo flew so smooth, mine move like crab sideway lol

Just using the stock motors and props. 1406 3150kv motors and FX-3830 props

@@gizfpv my stock motor is 1404, replace it with 2004, love the power but no so efficient, I will downgrade to 1507 I guess

what happen to the t1 as is shaking so much?

I explained in the video, the plane itself wasn't shaking, it was gyroflow making it look like it was
