Pros
- Priced perfectly for beginner pilots to try flying a drone. You won't feel too bad if you crash it into a tree or building.
- Available in three colors Black, Blue, and Red.
- Folding drone with carrying case for portability.
- Weighs only 155 gram. This drone does not require registration or remote ID (RID) in most countries.
- Brushless motors for power, durability, and longevity.
- 3.7V 1000mah battery provides about 9 minutes of flight time. Bundled replacement battery only adds $3 to cost (Recommend getting it. You'll want it.).
- Optical flow sensor in belly.
- GPS provides automatic hover capability, along with automatic return to home and landing ability on command, loss of signal, and low voltage.
- Camera mount with remote controlled up/down tilt capability.

Cons
- User manual is entirely in Chinese. But I cover everything that you need to know in this video to help you get it into the air.
- Poor resolution (480p) camera. Camera does not have automatic gain control, and images/videos may look washed-out on a bright sunny day.
- Relatively short control and FPV range of about 40 meters.
- Optical flow sensor did not seem to work on mine.
- App does not provide any telemetry information, nor does it have any advanced flight modes like follow me, circle me, or waypoints.

101, I just bought this drone. It's flipping awesome. My optical flow camera works and my camera works if it's not bright out. I love the range for this tiny drone. My street is a 100 meters long. This drone flies the whole way. Pretty good drone. Animal

There are quite a few similar drones now at this price point but they are all very underpowered for having brushless motors to the point they can't handle a slight breeze.

would it lift a go pro. or similar small decsent spec camera.

This small toy looks to be a brushless replacement for the Eachine E58 (featured widely in the DroneX etc online scams) which was (at the correct price!) a fun little starting folder. 1 thing that intrigues me is that the pretty useless camera looks like it might be possible to unscrew and unplug it and substitute the weight of all that plastic for a 4gm All-In-One 5.8Ghz 3.7v camera. Any thoughts? And do you have an RCGroups thread up on this yet, Old Mate? 😉😊

Adding a 5.8Ghz camera would be good if the drone's 2.4Ghz WiFi signal could simultaneously be deactivated. Otherwise, the WiFi would still be interfering with the controller. With most of the 2.4Ghz WiFi cameras they are usually fairly self-contained units with the WiFi Video return circuitry (including the aerial) contained in the camera unit - only having power and control wires coming from the main body of the quad. Thus pulling the camera would negate the influence of the quad's 2.4Ghz camera on the Transmitter's 2.4Ghz control signal.

On the drone I take it the drone will not take a SD card ? I didn't here you mention that. For the price it's not bad.

Unfortunately there is nothing cheap that matches those requirements. You'd need to spend close to $200 for what you're asking.

LYZRC L200 Pro Max. Best drone under $100. GPS, brushless, SD card, 2-axis gimbal+EIS, true 2k video. Great little thing. I doubt it will have 1 km FPV in most conditions. But I've seen them come close. Normally 300 meters is already really good. If you want long range save up for a DJI Mini 4k. Because long range also means you need a good reliable drone with a good app.

@@Quadcopter101 There are a couple clones of the L200 such as the KFPLAN KF110 and LSRC S9S. I'm not gonna say it is as good as a DJI, but for under $100 you could call it a DJI killer. The video quality is nothing to be ashamed of.

No, that's the company dreaming of what they were going to originally try to make. The Chinese companies always seem to produce the marketing posters before the product is even finalized. The final product skipped those features to keep the cost down.
