I just got me a HS360S. And it wouldn't connect to my New Samsung Galaxy, but it worked great with my 10 year old Galaxy S6 Phone. The FPV worked flawless. Video never locked up at all. And i had it out just over 1750 Meters no issues at all. P.S. I like how thorough your review was. Really good Job! Sincerely enjoyed your video.

I just ordered this drone. Had the HS175 then the HS710. Hoping that the FPV video is better on this one. I have a iPhone. So we will see. Did you fly it close to any other wifi signals such as your home and did you turn on airplane mode on this one?

I have this model and have taken ot out to 1500-1600 feet with no video issues!,, love zoomin around with this little Holy Stone!

I like that they are releasing more and more 249gram quads👍

Yes, and some with remote id. Tech is definitely getting better and smaller. I'm amazed at how light the batteries are coming out too. Thanks Steve!

I have the HS175D, and it flies the same way. It also doesn’t have EIS. My next drone will be the HS600, which has EIS and is FAA compliant with remote ID. Hey great video Rc escape.

I have three of these, I have video freezing issues as well on #1, #2 likes to go "connecting" while in mid flight and #3..well I had to retire that one after spending 4 months at 130ft up in a tree.. I like the drone,,, they can be quirky at times.

Question, has anyone found a way to tone done the way it rocks when stops, like an Expo feature for the controls?

Great video and presentation, but I'm glad I bought the Potensic Atom.

Why does mine not have live video? When I turn it on it stays like a picture?

Not connecting i have an issue with it's the battery i don't feel like you get anywhere near the stated flight time. Also do you have to calibrate it when you change battery

I’m also having trouble with my batteries. Less than 5 minutes flying time before it goes into return home mode. I’ve been corresponding with Holy Stone customer service for the past couple of days.

how many times does he say "quad-copter"?

Thorough review as usual. Without a gimbal, it should at least have some EIS imo; like it is, you need a calm day and some s m o o t h flying to get half decent aerial footage. The Atom SE would be a better (more expensive?) option.

Yes, they have the eis technology but I guess the magic 250g? The plastic could be made thinner to save weight for this but more sub 250g quads in the market to choose and hope they make some tweaks on the next ones :) Thanks!!

Do I need my phone to fly this drone or can I fly it without using my phone, also how does return to home work?

Do you have to use the auto take off button or is it ok to just use the left joystick to ascend? I have always preferred to take off and land myself. I don't think it effects the gps lock?

Whats the video transmission range?

Did you ever figure out why you were loosing your live video feed? It didn’t seem like you were flying that far away? Did you turn on airplane mode on your phone? You don’t seem to be near any interference.

I recently got mine and do you know why my controller doesn’t charge ?

How long did you charge your controller for? When I got mine, It had 3 bars and took almost 2 hours to get it to where it came up on the display and said "Charging Complete".

The drone should be rotated counterclockwise. You rotated horizontally clockwise and vertically counterclockwise. Then the blue light no longer flashes. Otherwise great video.

Cw or ccw, it doesn’t matter. The lights are blinking because gps isn’t fully acquired.

nice lil buggarooo pete! how would you rate this one with that potensic you recently reviewed? potensic a lil better? being it has a actual gimbal? no onboard sd unit im sure would kinda hurt the potensic one id imagine...

The potensic atom or atom se would be better than this all around. This one is good in that it costs less than those :)

My holystone 720g went crazy again yesterday Jan 23 2024 and yes I calibrated I always do because it sets your home point and I went up to about 70 feet and because is with the GPS it's steady but as soon as you take control and move around it suddenly goes sideways and backwards and it wasn't wind at all it goes full speed by itself and you have to fight it the only way to get out of this software malfunction is to do a return home... otherwise it would go back to China

@@RCEscape with toilet bowling it didn't I had to take out the battery and do everything again,the going out control in the middle of flight is random and not drift with wind but full speed sideways and backwards

I have a 720G it does the same thing. I read (somewhere) that if you take it apart and put electrical tape over some of the wires near the GPS, it fixes the problem. I might try that solution. Otherwise it is a piece of junk.
